Best NBA Bets Today (Friday, Jan. 30)
Kawhi Leonard over 23.5 points at Denver Nuggets (-117)
DraftKings, 3:36 PM CT
Nick Whalen: The Nuggets will get a big boost with the return of Nikola Jokic tonight, but the big man could see limited minutes, and Denver's defense is still not an overly disadvantageous matchup. Leonard has scored at least 20 points in 25 consecutive games, averaging 29.4 points per game on 20.4 shots (6.4 FTA, 7.8 3PA) in that span.
Neemias Queta over 10.5 points (-128) vs. Sacramento Kings
DraftKings, 3:23 PM CT
Alex Barutha: Queta has gone three straight games in single digits and can be somewhat inconsistent, but he's still averaging 10.0 points across the month of January. This feels like a good opportunity for him given Sacramento is weak at the center position. These teams faced off on New Year's Day, with Queta posting 13 points in 23 minutes.
Detroit Pistons moneyline (+114) at Golden State Warriors
DraftKings - 2:10 p.m. CT
Kirien Sprecher: The Pistons had a disappointing effort in Phoenix on Thursday, and playing the second night of a back-to-back set during a road trip is tough, but I still have them as favorites over a Golden State squad in flux, even if a few key players rest. Detroit has a 5.5-game lead for the No. 1 seed, so it's likely a few players end up on the injury report, but as of writing this, only Caris LeVert is questionable.
