PropSwap Picks of the Week: Masters Edition

PropSwap Picks of the Week: Masters Edition

This article is part of our Betting Promotions series.

Have you ever made a bet at a sportsbook that you later regretted? Did the money line change on you?  Or, conversely, did you bet on a future that suddenly had a great chance at hitting? If so, a secondary marketplace to sell your ticket is available to you!  PropSwap posts your tickets and makes them available via a straight sale or a bidding process. Think of PropSwap as an eBay for sports tickets. Like an item on eBay, you place the ticket on PropSwap, and then people can buy and/or bid on your action.  And, yes, that's right - you can also purchase action on the site as well!

The purpose of our weekly article is to take a look at what's available on PropSwap this week and give advice on our best buys. Before you buy anything on PropSwap, be sure to read the fine print. The betting slip will be sent to you via certified mail, so if your ticket wins, you need to be near a licensed sportsbook to cash it in. Although deadlines to cash vary, most sportsbooks' typical expiration date is six months or 180 days.

We're putting out this article earlier in the week, so we can take advantage of one of the biggest events in golf. The Masters at Augusta National should be exciting, and at the moment, weather looms as a  predominant factor.  Rain is in the forecast for all four days of the tournament, making the slick greens easier to hold. It's also an advantage to the long-ball hitters, who won't need the fairway roll that others might need to get into position for approach shots. We're going to focus on the Masters tickets available and factor in their skillset relative to the course conditions.

MASTERS

Brooks Koepka TO WIN 2020 Masters $95.00

Odds 10.05:1 TO WIN $1,050.00

Koepka's 2020 resume hasn't been up to snuff, but he's a beast when the Majors come around. His Masters warmup at the Houston Open went well with a T5 finish over the weekend, and if you factor in his T2 at Augusta in 2019, the odds for this ticket are incredibly favorable.  He's one of the longest hitters on Tour, and though his SG: Approach numbers are only so-so, he'll be able to hit into most greens with a seven-iron or less.

Bryson DeChambeau TO WIN 2020 Masters $450.00

Odds 4:1 TO WIN $2,250.00

This year's U.S. Open champ is a clear favorite due to his length off the tee.  Although he has one of the more unorthodox swings on Tour, he gets the job done. He's notched a T29 and T38 over his past two showings at Augusta, but the weather plays right into his hands this week.  With one of the best SG: Approach averages on Tour and a stellar game off the tee, he's primed for a great weekend.

Justin Thomas TO WIN 2020 Masters $170.00

Odds 9:1 TO WIN $1,700

I was surprised to see the odds for Thomas, who leads the Tour in SG: Approach and has the length of the tee to put him at a significant advantage this week. In four appearances at the Masters, he's never done better than 12th in 2019, but he's shot eight rounds under-par over that span. He could put it all together this week with a strong weekend.

CFB

Notre Dame TO WIN 2021 CFB Championship $500.00

Odds 3.1:1 TO WIN $2,050

The Irish cleared a big hurdle with a narrow win over Clemson. It's a near-certainty that they will wrestle with the Tigers one more time in the ACC Championship Game, and they'll have to contend with Trevor Lawrence this time around. Despite Lawrence's influence, the Tigers had trouble getting to Ian Book and despite several hurries, they didn't register a single sack against Notre Dame's offensive line. If the Irish win again, they will be a lock for the second seed in the playoff.

NFL

Saints TO WIN 2021 NFL Championship $66.00

Odds 6.27:1 TO WIN $480.00

The Saints defense crushed Tom Brady and the Bucs on Sunday and gave Brady the worst QB rating of his career. If their defense can perform well down the stretch, the offense should be able to put plenty of points on the board with Alvin Kamara and a now-healthy Michael Thomas
