This article is part of our Betting Promotions series.
Have you ever made a bet at a sportsbook that you later regretted? Did the money line change on you? Or, conversely, did you bet on a future that suddenly had a great chance at hitting? If so, a secondary marketplace to sell your ticket is available to you! PropSwap posts your tickets and makes them available via a straight sale or a bidding process. Think of PropSwap as an eBay for sports tickets. Like an item on eBay, you place the ticket on PropSwap, and then people can buy and/or bid on your action. And, yes, that's right - you can also purchase action on the site as well!
The purpose of our weekly article is to take a look at what's available on PropSwap this week and give advice on our best buys. Before you buy anything on PropSwap, be sure to read the fine print. The betting slip will be sent to you via certified mail, so if your ticket wins, you need to be near a licensed sportsbook to cash it in. Although deadlines to cash vary, most sportsbooks' typical expiration date is six months or 180 days.
Today we'll run through the various sports and also recommend a few 'buy' options to consider if you're interested in placing action on the site.
NFL
Buffalo Bills TO WIN 2021 NFL Championship $84.00
Odds 11.86:1 TO WIN $1,080.00
It seems more and more likely that the Bills will emerge from the AFC East despite a late charge from Miami, but Josh Allen will need to play at his best to get past Kansas City. There are other hurdles they'll have to climb even to get that far, but if they can get their rushing offense humming, the Bills' defense has a decent chance of carrying them far.
BILLS-6, (BUF/DEN UN49½), DOLPHINS-2, (NE/MIA OV41½), PACKERS-8½, (CAR/GB OV51½) $50.00
Odds 24:1 TO WIN $1,251.25
As parlays go, I like the picks here the best. I think the Bills, Dolphins, and Packers will all cover. The Under in the BUF/DEN game gives me a bit of paise, but I think it all depends on what version of Drew Lock we'll see this weekend. If he's able to generate some offense, it puts this under call at risk.
CFB
Not much to like here, but there are some straight bets on conference championship games.
Alabama -17.5 Alabama @ Florida $103.00
Odds -118.39 TO WIN $190.00
I like this wager better than Ohio State -20.5 against Northwestern, Ohio State hasn't really played anyone, and this game could show a bit of the soft underbelly many have been suspecting. Alabama has blown out nearly everyone, and after Florida's terrible loss last week, beating Alabama is their only shot at being relevant. They'll be Alabama's toughest challenge, but the Crimson Tide's defense should be able to keep Kyle Trask in check.
NBA
Jordan Clarkson TO WIN Sixth Man of the Year $153,00
Odds 7.5:1 TO WIN $1,300.00
It's way too early for this prop bet, but how can you not like Clarkson in this spot? There's no chance that he'll leap-frog Mike Conley or Donovan Mitchell unless one of them gets injured, and he's almost always the first guy up. He's so involved, you could even call him the 1 ½th unit instead of the second unit. The preseason has already shown us the kind of spark he provides off the bench.
CBB
Iowa TO WIN 2021 NCAAB Championship $400.00
Odds: 2.75:1 TO WIN $1,500
Iowa's Big 10 resume should earn them a fairly easy path if Luka Garza and company can keep the wins coming. I prefer Iowa to the Houston bet that's also available.
BUY RECOMMENDATIONS
Here are a couple of buy recommendations for those who want to sell action on the site. The odds listed are for FanDuel Sportsbook, and odds can vary according to where you're buying your tickets.
PHOENIX SUNS TO MAKE 2020-21 PLAYOFFS (+132)
I really like the Suns this season, and early indications show that Mikal Bridges' play at the wing is the final piece of the puzzle that now includes Chris Paul running the show. The odds here will plummet as the season continues.
MEMPHIS GRIZZLIES TOTAL WINS OVER 31.5 (-115)
I think the Grizzlies are on track to destroy this number. I usually make a slew of NBA future bets at the beginning of the season, and I already have Memphis locked at a lower number. The trio of Ja Morant, Dillon Brooks and Jonas Valanciunas will surprise a lot of people.
