2025 Fantasy Outlook
After dominating the Ivy League during a breakout sophomore campaign, Wolf transferred to Michigan for his junior year and continued to impress. With a seven-foot frame, Wolf's offensive instincts and creativity are exceptional, but the big question is whether he'll be efficient enough to be effective at the NBA level. The Nets had five first-round picks in 2025 and used their final one to select Wolf at 27 overall. Brooklyn's offense will run through Cam Thomas and Michael Porter, but the rest of the roster remains a mystery. Wolf, along with fellow rookies Egor Demin, Nolan Traore, Drake Powell and Ben Saraf, will presumably get developmental minutes eventually, but it's unlikely all five are part of the rotation on Opening Night. Nic Claxton will start at center, with returning players Day'Ron Sharpe, Drew Timme and Noah Clowney likely ahead of Wolf on the depth chart due to their familiarity with the organization. Wolf's game could be ideal for fantasy hoops, but without a guaranteed role, he's likely only a stash option on draft day. Read Past Outlooks

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Turning heads as playmaker
Wolf has impressed with his playmaking ability after dishing out five assists in 15 minutes during the Nets' first preseason game against Hapoel Jerusalem on Saturday, Oct. 4, according to Bridget Reilly of The New York Post. "I mean, when the coaches trust me with the ball in my hands, it's up to me to make a play," Wolf said. "I think a few times, I got a little too sped up and made a few -- I made an errant pass and kinda lost the ball on a ball screen. But when coach Jordi [Fernández] draws me up or tells us to run a play and it breaks off, it's up to you to make a play, and I tried doing that to the best of my ability."
ANALYSIS
Wolf was one of several first-round picks made by the Nets in the 2025 NBA Draft, and his floor might allow him to become a regular member of the rotation sooner rather than later. He's certainly leaving a good impression on the coaching staff with his playmaking ability, although it's uncertain if he'll be able to repeat those numbers against NBA opponents.
