The Skinny

The big story here is the absence of Emma Meesseman from the Mystics' ranks while she competes overseas in the FIBA Women's EuroBasket 2019. Her absence from Friday's contest opened the door for LaToya Sanders to log 27 minutes against the Liberty. More of the same should be on tap Sunday, though it's worth noting the Wings play at the second-slowest pace in the league, which could diminish some of those returns. Sanders is an even bigger value on FanDuel, where her price costs you 4.7 percent less of the budget than it does on DraftKings. Dallas made some major starting lineup changes last game, but it didn't prevent them from falling to 0-3 on the campaign. It was most likely just a kick in the pants from coach Brian Agler, so it wouldn't be shocking to see the former starting lineup back in action Sunday. Coming off an 18-point performance, Isabelle Harrison will net you a lot more value in DraftKings lineups than on FanDuel.

The Skinny

Featuring two of the four fastest-paced offenses in the league and a Liberty squad that checks in second-worst in the league in defensive rating, this game has the makings of a shootout and some major points for the Aces. The opposition shoots 37.9 percent (second-best) beyond the arc through four games this season, which may position Kayla McBride, Kelsey Plum and Sugar Rodgers to provides some added value. Opponents have had a tough time scoring against the Aces, but one area they have excelled is in blocking shots. The Aces have had a league-high 7.8 shots blocked per game this season, which could work int he favor of Amanda Zahui B and Rebecca Allen.

The Skinny

The two clubs sit in the middle of the pack in terms of pace, which neither improves or detracts from the potential fantasy value for each player. However, the Sun have been much more efficient with their possessions (102.2 offensive rating) and the Dream have clock in third-worst in the league in defensive rating (104.9) through their first four tilts. The Dream also struggle on the glass and guarding the paint, collecting just 45.3 percent of the rebound chances and surrendering 37.5 points per game down low. Only the Phoenix Mercury claim a lower number, suggesting Jonquel Jones (13.0 RPG) may have another big day on tap. Atlanta has also given a league-high 23.8 assists per game, potentially boosting Jasmine Thomas' value. There aren't a ton of glaring weaknesses for the Sun defensively, though the team has allowed 37.2 points per game in the paint, so there may be some value for the Dream bigs and slashing guards.

The Skinny

Two of the floor slowest paces on the slate, the Phoenix and Mercury figure to battle to a relatively low-scoring affair. Neither can claim a distinct advantage on the boards, but the Fever, despite the slowed pace, allow the opposition to get to the free-throw line 21 times per game (fourth-most). DeWanna Bonner has proven to be the best at drawing fouls for the Mercury in the early going and also leads the club in rebounding, so there's a chance she could have another solid day if the price is right. The Mercury do struggle to guard the three-point line (league-worst 38.8 percent), leading to some added value for the Fever's deep threats in Erica Wheeler and Kelsey Mitchell. Wheeler provides much more budget relief on DraftKings than on FanDuel. The Mercury also have the ball stolen and second-highest rate in the league, which is where Betnijah Laney's 2.5 steals per game could earn her extra bang for the buck Sunday.

The Skinny

The Sky not only clock in with the fastest pace in the league, but they are the least efficient on the defensive end of the floor. Those factors always bod well for the opposition, which happens to be the Storm in this case. Chicago clears the defensive glass ant a league-worst 59.7 percent and just 44.7 percent overall, which could lead to a field day for Natasha Howard and her 10 boards per game. The Sky also get pick-pocketed the most (12.7 per game) in the league, which should play into the hands of Howard (2.0 SPG), Jordin Canada (3.4 SPG), and Jewell Loyd (1.2 SPG). Seattle's opponents don't typically get to the free-throw line often, so it may be best to focus on the team's three-point shooters for value (third-worst in the league). Diamond DeShields and Allie Quigley lead the way for the Sky in that facet, both attempting 4.7 shots from deep per game.
