FORWARDS
Cristiano Ronaldo, JUV v. B04 (€29): The Champions League's all-time leading scorer will look to open his 2019-20 UCL account against a Leverkusen side that conceded twice at home to Lokomotiv Moscow in their Group D opener. Ronaldo comes in hot with two goals on 16 shots and an assist in two games over the last 10 days, and he should be firing at will after being kept in check in his 2019-20 UCL opener.
Sergio Aguero, MCI v. DZG (€27): Aguero boasts the top anytime goal scoring odds of any player on the slate, and rightfully so as he's scored at least a goal in each of his last six starts. With Manchester City expected to hang multiple goals on Dinamo Zagreb, there's a good chance Aguero's name shows back up on the scoresheet.
Tomane, CRV v. OLY (€10): Tomane is set to return to UCL play after missing the Group B opener through suspension. Big things are expected from the Portuguese attacker since signing on with Red Star Belgrade over the summer, and at minimum price he's worthy of a GPP roster spot in what could be his best chance to score a Champions League goal in Tuesday's home matchup with Olympiacos.
MIDFIELDERS
Angel Di Maria, PSG at GAL (€28): Di Maria kicked off the Champions League campaign in fine fashion, bagging a brace in a 3-0 win over Real Madrid. With Neymar sidelined, he'll continue to fuel the PSG attack in a favorable matchup at Galatasaray.
Riyad Mahrez, MCI v. DZG (€23): Mahrez could be tasked with the majority of Manchester City's set pieces if Kevin De Bruyne (injury) misses out. Regardless of his set-piece share, Mahrez is in fine form with a goal in three straight appearances, firing off 12 shots, creating 12 chances and tacking on a pair of assists over that span.
Ilkay Gundogan, MCI v. DZG (€18): Gundogan is no guarantee to start, but he provides an inlet to the Manchester City midfield at reasonable salary if he does. With City checking in as the biggest favorite on the slate, he's in a good spot to follow up with another good performance after scoring 18 points, including a goal on four shots, in his Group C opener.
DEFENDERS
Joshua Kimmich, MUN at TOT (€22): Kimmich holds arguably the biggest attacking upside of any defender in the player pool. He has three assists over his last four domestic outings, and with fireworks expected at Tottenham on Tuesday, he offers up the perfect blend of attacking and defensive appeal.
Kieran Trippier, ATL at LMO (€17): As the primary set-piece taker for Atletico Madrid, Trippier comes with a decent floor, and his fantasy appeal is boosted by his potential to rack up points through attacking contributions. Pair that with the fact that Atletico have the second-best clean sheet odds on the slate, and Trippier appears to be a good value compared to the higher priced tier of defenders on the board.
Nicolas Otamendi, MCI v. DZG (€15): Otamendi gives us exposure to the defense with the best clean sheet odds at a manageable salary. The big center-back delivered a goal in Premier League play just 10 days ago, highlighting his ability to make his mark on the scoresheet as a set piece target in the box.
GOALKEEPER
Jose Sa, OLY at CRV (€10): With all of the value on the board, a case could be made for paying up for the highest clean sheet odds on the slate with Ederson (€18), but Sa makes for a viable option if we're looking to save at the position. Despite playing away, Sa gives us a minimum-priced goalkeeper for a favored side in one of the lowest total games on the slate.
