PLAYER RECOMMENDATIONS
GOALKEEPER
David Bingham, SJE v. DAL: Picking the goalkeeper facing the hottest team in Major League Soccer looks unwise on the surface, but it ignores the facts about how good the Earthquakes have been defensively at home this season. San Jose have allowed just four goals in eight home games, much of which comes from their defense, which has allowed just 4.08 percent of their opponents' shots to turn into goals (best in the league), while only 13.33 percent of their shots on target allowed have found the back of the net (also league-best). Meanwhile, Dallas have taken a ton of shots in their recent games, including a 19-shot barrage (10 on target) against Orlando City on Monday, which could lead to plenty of saves for Bingham.
DEFENDER
Chris Tierney, NER v. NYC: After ceding corners and free kicks to Lee Nguyen when he missed time due to injury, Tierney reclaimed the job this past weekend, finishing with 10 crosses and an assist at Montreal. The NYC FC defense has posted back-to-back shutouts (at Seattle, v. Red

Red Bulls), but the Revs' attack has really produced at home, scoring multiple goals in four straight games in Foxboro.
Jalil Anibaba, HOU at ORL: Anibaba took full advantage of his start against the Union this past weekend, sending in nine crosses in a 1-0 win. Houston haven't been a great defensive team, so any clean sheet expectations should be tempered, but the Orlando City fullbacks aren't great defenders, which should allow Anibaba to continue in his attacking ways.
RJ Allen, NYC at NER: Allen's two-game assist streak came to an end this past weekend against the Red Bulls, but he still managed to finish with multiple crosses, tackles, fouls drawn and interceptions, with a yellow card tempering the upside. Despite the consistent production, he remains a fairly affordable option in most formats.
MIDFIELDER
Jack Harrison, NYC at NER: Those who grabbed Harrison for $3,400 on DraftKings for Sunday's Hudson River Derby were greatly rewarded, as the 19-year-old scored a goal and assisted on another in a 2-0 win. His price has increased just $300, and he arguably makes for an even better play against the Revs, who, while better defensively at home, have still allowed 31 goals this season, tying them for the most in Major League Soccer.
Kevin Molino, ORL v. HOU: The Dynamo defense has been pretty poor this season, particularly on the road, and Molino looks to take on an even bigger attacking role if Kaka is unable to play after leaving Monday's game at halftime due to injury. Luke Boden could take over corner duty, but Molino has significantly more upside.
Matias Perez Garcia, SJE v. DAL: Perez Garcia's role on corners gives him a solid floor, and he gets involved enough in the attack to make him an attractive fantasy option, even without taking a plethora of shots.
FORWARD
David Villa, NYC at NER: Again, the Revs are better defensively at home, but that shouldn't be a big hindrance to Villa, who scored his MLS-leading 12th goal of the season on Sunday against the Red Bulls. Villa has taken 38 shots in his last five games, and New England hasn't shut out an opponent since May 14 (Chicago).
Kei Kamara, NER v. NYC: Despite NYC FC shutting out their last two opponents, there is little reason to think they'll keep it going against the Revs, who finally saw Kamara break out by scoring twice last weekend against the Impact in Montreal. Kamara won't necessarily take as many shots as Villa, but his goal upside is pretty similar.
Chris Wondolowski, SJE v. DAL: Wondolowski had a rough time during Copa America, but he's always a good fantasy option at home during MLS action. While it's been a while since his last game at Avaya Stadium (May 11 against Houston), Wondo has two goals and three assists in his last three home games. And while Dallas are tops in MLS with 34 points, their 18 goals allowed on the road are the fourth-most in the league.
