PLAYER RECOMMENDATIONS

GOALKEEPER

Hugo Lloris, FRA v. LUX ($6,000): It will be a risk not to pick Lloris, as he will be the main chalk on the slate due to the one-sided nature of his match. He may not rack up the saves that some other keepers can get, but he is almost assured of a clean sheet and a win.

DEFENDER

Thomas Meunier, BEL at GRC ($6,500): Meunier's last performance can't go unnoticed. He scored what almost certainly is the most fantasy points scored by a defender of any slate in DraftKings soccer history! His 65 points did not come without warning, however. Meunier has a history of producing monster outings from the right-back position. Not many fullbacks can put up the numbers that Meunier is capable of, and watch out because he has another favorable matchup Sunday.

Layvin Kurzawa, FRA v. LUX ($6,000): Kurzawa is really coming into his own as a player and it is great to see. He was an athletic fullback with loads of potential for some time, but now he is finally getting consistent starting playing time for Paris Saint-Germain, and he is the first choice right-back for France. He is a fantastic fantasy producer, and the second best fullback on this slate.

Gints Freimanis, LAT v. SUI ($3,900): He is somewhat of a punt, but Freimanis did score a goal on two shots on target in his last game. His price is cheap, and if you decide to fade the top options at defender, then he is a great pick.

MIDFIELDER

Antoine Griezmann, FRA v. LUX ($9,400): Griezmann is still the star of the show for France. All of these new, fancy names are coming into the side, but it is Griezmann who continues to score. He opened the scoring against the Netherlands earlier this week, and he takes many of the set pieces. In a game that is expected to be a blow out, Griezmann may not start, but if he does, he will almost certainly find the net.

Miralem Pjanic, BH at GIB ($7,900): Pjanic set up a goal in Cyprus earlier this week, but he has a great chance to do more in a match against a Gibraltar team that lost 9-0 to Belgium on Thursday. Last game's shocking defeat only adds fuel to Pjanic's fire, who is the center of the Bosnia attack.

Balazs Dzsudzsak, HUN v. POR ($7,100): Like Pjanic, Dzsudzsak is the center of his team's attack. He takes all the set pieces with his dangerous left foot, and his game is a perfect fit for DraftKings. He is a high-activity, high-volume player who has an excellent high floor and ceiling. He scored two goals when Hungary played Portugal in Euro 2016, in what was a monster fantasy game.

FORWARD

Cristiano Ronaldo, POR at HUN ($11,000): Another player who went off in the Portugal-Hungary match in Euro 2016 was you know who. He matched Dzsudzsak with a brace, and he even provided an assist on the other goal in the game. Most teams have no shot at stopping CR7 and Hungary is no different.

Kylian Mbappe, FRA v. LUX ($8,800): Will he start? Probably. He came in last game and was instantly knocking on the door until he netted a strike in just 14 minutes on the field. He is one of most lethal strikers in the world, and if he gets the nod against Luxembourg he should be considered a lock.

Roland Varga, HUN v. POR ($5,000): His stats against Latvia look magnificent. It will be much harder to produce those numbers against Portugal, but the versatility of his production makes him a safe play at his price.
