Goalkeeper
John Berner (Colorado Rapids; $4,100) - The Galaxy attack has been non-existent, having been held scoreless in four of their last five games. The return of Romain Alessandrini will keep Berner on his toes, but LA will be forced to shuffle their lineup once more with the Dos Santos brothers away on international duty. With the late game featuring two pedestrian attacks, both goalkeepers in the late game can be used, with Berner checking in at a nice discount.
Defenders
Hernan Grana (FC Dallas; $5,400) - Grana's topped double-digit points in three of his last four appearances, whipping in a combined 31 crosses over that stretch. On a slate with just four games to choose from, Grana emerges as the standout defender in a shallow player pool.
Daniel Lovitz (Montreal Impact; $3,900) - Lovitz hasn't logged a cross over the last two games but could be in-line to take some corner kicks against Chicago with usual set-piece taker Blerim Dzemaili on international duty. Lovitz has been picking up points through multiple categories, and if he does end up taking corners he should have no problem paying off his $3,900 price tag.
Midfielders
Romain Alessandrini (LA Galaxy; $10,800) - Alessandrini has seen limited playing time recently but looks set to return to the lineup on Saturday. With the Dos Santos brother off on international duty, LA will give Alessandrini the keys to the car and lean on him to drive the attack. The Frenchman has topped double-digit crosses in three of his last four starts, piling up 54 crosses over that span.
Kaka (Orlando City; $7,000) - Newcomer Yoshimar Yotun's absence means Kaka will likely take on all of Orlando City's set pieces, and with New England missing some key defensive pieces, the former FIFA World Player of the Year is in a good spot to deliver a strong performance at a reasonable salary.
Luis Gonzalez (FC Dallas; $4,300) - The Venezuelan attacker made his MLS debut last weekend, and with Dallas looking for answers in the attack, it would come as no surprise to see Gonzalez thrusted into the starting lineup. The talented winger will likely bring a bevy of crosses and shots once he gets going, and he has goal scoring upside to boot. At $4,300 he's worth keeping an eye out for once starting lineups are announced.
Forwards
Ignacio Piatti (Montreal Impact; $10,000) - We simply can't ignore the tear Piatti has been on. The Argentine has a goal or more in five straight games and seven total over that span. Also, as with Lovitz above, with Dzemaili away on international duty Piatti's floor gets a slight bump as he could take on a share of corner kicks.
Michael Barrios (FC Dallas; $7,600) - Even though FC Dallas are in the midst of a funk, Barrios continues to bring a reliable fantasy floor on DraftKings. He's swung in four or more crosses in 10 straight games and flirts with double-digits regularly even without the goals and assists. With Kellyn Acosta on international duty, Barrios should continue to shoulder the majority of set pieces for Dallas.
