Tournament Preview
The European Tour is in Sweden this week for Nordea Masters. The tournament will be contested at Hills Golf Club for the first time. Hills is an undulating, tree-lined course set next to a nature preserve. It contains many bunkers and water hazards throughout. Accuracy off the tee and approaching the green is a must this week. Although the two top Swedish names are not at Nordea Masters this week, many of the local talents will be teeing it up. A Swede has won this event seven times. With no course history, locals and in form ball strikers will be a good place to start when choosing golfers.

DRAFTINGS PICKS
Joakim Lagergren - $10,700 (25/1)
The Swede comes to Nordea Masters after a couple weeks of rest and in good form. In his last two starts he finished T23 at Scottish Open and T12 Irish Open. He has one win this season, which came at Rocco Forte Sicilian Open. Lagergren is ranked 76th on tour in SG: tee to green and 64th in SG: off the tee. Should Joakim find one of the many bunkers at Hills GC, he shouldn't worry, since he is ranked 15th in sand saves. Lagergren appears to be a good place to start at the top tier.
Lucas Bjerregaard - $9,600 (33/1)
Bjerregaard is having a solid season, highlighted with a solo sixth, a couple top fives and a T3 so far. He slipped a bit recently, missing the cut at both the Scottish and Irish Open, but finished T39 last time out at Porsche European Open. He has never missed the cut at Nordea Masters. Bjerregaard is ranked 46th on tour in SG: tee to green and 52nd in SG: off the tee.
Jens Dantorp - $7,900 (66/1)
Dantorp is another local who has flashed some good form recently is Dantorp. He missed the cut at the Open Championship, but prior to that, finished T3 at Scottish Open. His season has been consistent, making five cuts from his last seven starts. Although this is a first time for Hills GC to host Nordea Masters, Danthorp's "A" game shows up for this event. He finished T18 in 2016 and T3 in 2015. He is ranked 10th in SG: off the tee and 68th in SG: tee to green.
Maximilian Kieffer $7,300 (66/1)
I am going back to Kieffer again this week after he came through last time with a T29 at Porsche European Open. He has the skills that should lead to success at Hills GC. He is 20th on tour in SG: off the tee and 66th in SG: tee to green. Maximilian is great around the greens, he is ranked 27th in scrambling and 12th in sand saves. Kieffer has had good results at this tournament in the past, finishing T3 in 2015 and T11 in 2014.
