Inks future deal with Big Blue
The Giants signed Washington to a reserve/future contract Friday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
ANALYSIS
Washington spent most of the 2024 season on the Chiefs' practice squad after failing to make the 53-man roster at the end of training camp in late August. The 2022 fifth-round pick will be on the Giants' 90-man roster for the start of the new league year, which will give him a chance to participate in OTAs, minicamp and training camp.

2022 Fantasy Outlook
The Broncos selected Washington in the fifth round of the 2022 NFL Draft, and he'll enter his rookie season facing a great deal of competition to see the field while buried on the depth chart. The 5-9, 181-pound wide receiver will likely play in a reserve role as he learns the offense in his rookie season and would need injuries to several teammates to see meaningful action in 2022.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Standing out in camp
Washington has had a strong training camp and has mixed in with the first-team offense, per Dan Duggan of The Athletic.
ANALYSIS
Washington hasn't appeared in a regular-season game since his 2022 rookie season with the Broncos, but he's making a push for a spot on the 53-man roster with the Giants. If Washington maintains his momentum throughout the preseason, he could earn a spot in a wide receiver room that lacks a clear fifth option after Malik Nabers, Wan'Dale Robinson, Darius Slayton and Jalin Hyatt. Nabers and Robinson are currently tending to minor shoulder and leg injuries, respectively.
