2025 Fantasy Outlook
The 2020 first-round pick appeared in 15 regular-season games for Las Vegas last year and finished with career highs in tackles (32) and sacks (5.0) while logging his first interception in the NFL. With New England, Chaisson adds pass-rushing depth to the team's new-look defense, which will be directed by incoming coordinator Terrell Williams and head coach Mike Vrabel. Read Past Outlooks

ANALYSIS
Chaisson has been dealing with an ankle injury over the past couple of weeks but should continue to play through it during Monday's matchup versus the Giants. The 2020 first-round pick has compiled 18 tackles (10 solo), including 6.5 sacks, across 11 games and will look to add to his totals against New York.

2020
Chaisson played in 16 games as a rookie for the Jaguars in 2020, but he didn't deliver much production with 19 total tackles and one sack in 568 defensive snaps. The defense is expected to be improved in 2021, so the first-round pick should begin the season in a better situation to succeed.

Getting look from Raiders
Chaisson signed with the Raiders practice squad Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
ANALYSIS
Chaisson was let go by the Panthers at the close of training camp after signing a one-year deal worth up to $5 million with the team this offseason. He was selected in the first round by the Jaguars in the 2020 NFL Draft, though he managed only five total sacks across his first four seasons as a pro. The Raiders lost Malcolm Koonce to a long-term injury in Week 1 and Tyree Wilson is also banged up, so Chaisson could fill a need for the team along the defensive line.
