2025 Fantasy Outlook
Vikings coach Kevin O'Connell has repeatedly praised Nailor since the team took him in the sixth round of the 2022 Draft, but it wasn't until last season that the young wideout got his big chance. After injuries limited him to six games in 2023, Nailor stayed healthy for all 17 regular-season games in 2024 and served as Minnesota's No. 3 receiver for the entire year. It wasn't a high-volume job, but Nailor made the most of his 42 targets, catching 28 passes for 414 yards and six touchdowns. Despite the strong showing, there's no guarantee of more opportunities this season, as the Vikings still have WRs Justin Jefferson and Jordan Addison and now have added rookie third-round pick Tai Felton. Neither Nailor nor Felton is likely to see many targets when both Jefferson and Addison both are available, but short-term fantasy value is possible if injuries strike or Addison gets suspended for his arrest from last summer. RANKS
Facing competition from Thielen
Nailor (hand) has new competition for playing time after the Vikings traded for WR Adam Thielen on Wednesday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
Nailor's hand injury seemingly was part of the motivation for the trade, potentially rendering him unavailable during the same part of the season when Jordan Addison will be suspended (Weeks 1-3). With rookie Tai Felton (arm) also banged up and perhaps not considered ready for a full-time role, the Vikings spent days trying to pry Thielen away from Carolina without giving up an early draft pick. Nailor, meanwhile, hasn't practiced in two weeks, with Darren Wolfson of KSTP reporting in mid-August that the Vikings were concerned about his hand injury. Vikings coach Kevin Stefanski said Nailor was week-to-week and declined to comment on whether surgery was a possibility.

A 2022 sixth-round pick, Nailor has run just 77 routes through two seasons but has made the most of his limited opportunities with 12 catches for 208 yards and a touchdown on 19 targets. Hamstring and head injuries limited him to six games last year, and he took 67 of his 94 offensive snaps for the season during a Week 10 win over New Orleans. He'll compete with Brandon Powell and Trent Sherfield for the third receiver role in training camp.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Ahead of Felton
Nailor seems to be penciled in as Minnesota's third wide receiver, ahead of rookie third-round pick Tai Felton, per Alex Lewis of The Athletic.
ANALYSIS
Nailor set career highs with 414 yards and six touchdowns in the 2024 regular season, during which he worked as the team's third wide receiver behind Justin Jefferson and Jordan Addison. Nailor's set to reprise that role in 2025, as he's familiar with the offense and has shown up to camp motivated in a contract year. Meanwhile, Felton looks to be bound primarily for special teams work early as he looks to get drop problems under control. If Addison is suspended at some point in 2025 due to off-the-field issues, Nailor would be poised to climb another spot in the pecking order.
