2024 Fantasy Outlook
Granderson served as a rotational lineman for the first four years of his career, having started only seven combined games in that span. However, after the Saints parted ways with Marcus Davenport heading into the 2023 campaign, Granderson immediately did a better job of providing the team with the production they hoped to get from Davenport. He was disruptive to the opposing offense as both a pass rusher (20 QB hits; 8.5 sacks) and run stopper (14 tackles for loss) and quickly established himself as one of the better edge players in the league. Perhaps he loses a few snaps in 2024 relative to last season due to the Saints' offseason addition of Chase Young, but Granderson has established himself as a key part of the team's defense and is locked into a long-term deal to stay in New Orleans. Logs career highs in 2023
Granderson finished the 2023 regular season with a career-high 78 tackles and a career-high 8.5 sacks across 17 games.
ANALYSIS
Granderson showed promise as an edge rusher over the first four seasons of his career, totaling 14.5 sacks while playing a rotational role across 54 appearances. New Orleans locked in the 2019 undrafted free agent with a four-year, $52 million contract in September. In return, he rewarded the Saints with a team high in sacks as well as the team's third-most tackles behind inside linebackers Pete Werner and Demario Davis. With 34-year-old defensive end and franchise stalwart Cameron Jordan's production and availability slipping over each of the past three seasons, Granderson appears poised to play a vital role at pass rusher once again in 2024.

2023
2021
The 261-pound defensive end is looking to carry over the momentum from the second half of last season into 2023. Granderson finished with career highs in tackles (53) and sacks (5.5) in 2022 after he stepped up in place of Marcus Davenport after Week 9. With Davenport now in Minnesota and eight-time Pro Bowler Cameron Jordan locked into a starting role, Granderson figures to provide a veteran presence ahead of Payton Turner and rookie second-rounder Isaiah Foskey.

Getting to QB in camp
Granderson has been the Saints' best pass rusher in training camp, according to Jeff Duncan of NOLA.com.
ANALYSIS
That's lofty praise considering the Saints have eight-time Pro Bowler Cameron Jordan occupying the other spot at defensive end. Granderson emerged as a starter across from Jordan late last season and finished the 2022 campaign with 5.5 sacks. Now locked in as a starter following the offseason departure of Marcus Davenport, Granderson has created substantial separation from backup defensive end Payton Turner.
