Jordan is back for his 15th season in New Orleans after agreeing to a restructured contract this offseason. The 36-year-old is coming off his two least productive campaigns since his rookie season, tallying 77 tackles, including 6.0 sacks, over 34 regular-season games. He also played just 547 defensive snaps in 2024, which marked the fewest in a season in his career. His decreased playing time and sack production limit Jordan to some fringe IDP consideration. Jordan is a stalwart of the Saints defense with 13 seasons under his belt. However, the 34-year-old logged just two sacks last year, marking the first time he's had fewer than 7.5 sacks since his rookie campaign. He also dealt with an ankle issue that limited his playing time down the stretch. New Orleans severely lacked pressure off the edge in 2023 with just 34 sacks as a team, so it added 2020 No. 2 overall draft pick Chase Young this offseason. Still, Jordan's experience and leadership should ensure he has a prominent role even if his snaps continue tailing off this season.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
    Could get traded
Jordan is a candidate to get moved by the Saints at the trade deadline, Jonathan Jones of CBSSports.com reports.
				ANALYSIS
At just 1-6, New Orleans seems like one of the few teams sure to be sellers at the deadline, and Jordan could provide a boost to a contender's pass rush. The 36-year-old already has 2.5 sacks through seven games in 2025, and he needs one more to reach 125.0 for his career. The 49ers, who have already lost Nick Bosa for the season to a torn ACL and just saw Bryce Huff go down with a hamstring injury Sunday, would be an obvious landing spot for Jordan.
