Limited at walkthrough
Knight (ankle) was a limited participant at Wednesday's walkthrough, Bo Brack of GoPHNX.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Knight and Emari Demercado have been splitting the majority of the RB snaps since the Cardinals' Week 8 bye, with both players earning 22 touches apiece over the last two games. Demercado has been far more effective with those reps, accruing 182 yards from scrimmage to Knight's 80 total yards. Knight exited this past Sunday's loss at Seattle with an ankle injury in the fourth quarter, and he likely will need to log a full session Thursday and/or Friday in order to avoid a designation ahead of Sunday's contest against the 49ers.

Past Fantasy Outlooks
2023
2022
Knight spent most of 2022 on the Jets' practice squad until injuries paved the way for the undrafted rookie out of North Carolina State to debut in Week 12. The man known as "Bam" came in with a bang, topping 100 scrimmage yards in each of his first two NFL appearances before adding 77 scrimmage yards and a touchdown in his third game. Knight ran out of gas after that, mustering just 70 rushing yards on 39 carries over his final four games. New York hopes to have starter Breece Hall back from ACL surgery by Week 1, signed Dalvin Cook in August and drafted running back Israel Abanikanda in the fifth round to go with 2021 fourth-round pick Michael Carter, so Knight could be relegated back to the practice squad unless the Jets opt to roster five running backs.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
In line for lead role
Knight is expected to serve as Arizona's lead back against the Colts in Week 6, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.
ANALYSIS
Arizona could lean on the ground game in the absence of Kyler Murray, who is sidelined by a foot injury. Knight's physical running style makes him a better fit for a heavy workload than fellow former Jet Michael Carter, who led Arizona's backfield in the Week 5 loss to Tennessee. Carter's expected to play more of a change-of-pace role behind Knight against the Colts, with Emari Demercado possibly factoring into the backfield mix as well.
