2025 Fantasy Outlook
Bech did well to land inside the second round, 58th overall, with one of the most WR-needy teams in the league. Jakobi Meyers is the Raiders' only clear starter at the position, making TE Brock Bowers an obvious favorite to lead the team in targets. There presumably will be fewer targets to go around relative to last year -- when Vegas attempted the fourth most passes and third fewest rushes -- after the team brought in run-first offensive coordinator Chip Kelly and gave him RB Ashton Jeanty with the sixth overall pick. Still, it's a great situation for Bech to quickly become the No. 2 or 3 wide receiver, following a late-blooming college career in which more than half his yardage and TDs occurred in 2024 for TCU. Bech did put up 43-489-3 for LSU back in 2021, but then had only 346 receiving yards across 20 games in 2022-23. He was one of the stars of the Senior Bowl this winter and checked in at 6-foot-1, 214 pounds at the 2025 Combine, where he skipped the 40-yard dash and had mediocre numbers in the other drills. In the NFL, Bech will need to win with size, strength and savvy rather than speed, just like his new teammate Meyers. Read Past Outlooks
RANKS
Plucked by Raiders in second round
The Raiders selected Bech (knee) in the second round of the 2025 NFL Draft, 58th overall.
ANALYSIS
Bech started out at LSU splitting time between receiver and tight end before settling in as a full-time receiver at TCU beginning in 2023. He brings tight-end-level physicality to the wide receiver position at 6-foot and 214 pounds, with film that routinely shows him running through tackles. Bech took off in 2024 with more receiving yards (1,034) and touchdowns (nine) than he had in his previous three years combined. A lot of targets in the Raiders' offense are allocated to Jakobi Meyers and Brock Bowers, but there's still room for a third pass catcher. Bech has the talent to assume that role, especially considering Las Vegas' relative lack of competition for him currently on the roster.

Standing out in minicamp
Bech was one of the top standout rookies during Friday's minicamp session, Tashan Reed of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
While not being the biggest or fastest receiver, Bech was able to get himself open consistently during team drills. He told reporters after Friday's session that he watches film and models his game after Puka Nacua and other top wideouts while learning how to use his body, leverage and physicality to get open. It has clearly worked early on in minicamp, and a strong offseason performance for Bech would put the rookie second-rounder in position to play a meaningful role in the Raiders' offense alongside Jakobi Myers, Brock Bowers and fellow rookie Ashton Jeanty.
