2025 Fantasy Outlook
Bech did well to land inside the second round, 58th overall, with one of the most WR-needy teams in the league. Jakobi Meyers is the Raiders' only clear starter at the position, making TE Brock Bowers an obvious favorite to lead the team in targets. There presumably will be fewer targets to go around relative to last year -- when Vegas attempted the fourth most passes and third fewest rushes -- after the team brought in run-first offensive coordinator Chip Kelly and gave him RB Ashton Jeanty with the sixth overall pick. Still, it's a great situation for Bech to quickly become the No. 2 or 3 wide receiver, following a late-blooming college career in which more than half his yardage and TDs occurred in 2024 for TCU. Bech did put up 43-489-3 for LSU back in 2021, but he then had only 346 receiving yards across 20 games in 2022-23. He was one of the stars of the Senior Bowl this winter and checked in at 6-foot-1, 214 pounds at the 2025 Combine, where he skipped the 40-yard dash and had mediocre numbers in the other drills. In the NFL, Bech will need to win with size, strength and savvy rather than speed, just like his new teammate Meyers. Read Past Outlooks
RANKS
Falling behind in WR competition
Bech caught one of two targets for five yards in Thursday's 23-23 preseason tie against the Seahawks.
ANALYSIS
Despite being selected 58th overall in the 2025 NFL Draft, Bech was rumored to be facing an uphill battle for the No. 2 role at wide receiver throughout the early stages of training camp, and Thursday's preseason opener confirmed that suspicion considering Tre Tucker and fellow rookie Dont'e Thornton drew the start next to Jakobi Meyers in 11-personnel. The speed of Tucker and Thornton allow them to play on the boundary, while Bech's skill set and preferred route tree is a bit redundant with those of Meyers and tight end Brock Bowers. Therefore, playing time could be limited for the second-round TCU product early in 2025.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Should have solid role as rookie
Bech, who agreed to terms on his rookie deal Wednesday, should have a clear path to meaningful playing time in his rookie season, Fernando Alfaro-Donis of SI.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Bech's 1,000-yard season as a senior at TCU in 2024 helped boost his draft stock and led to his second-round selection by the Raiders, where the thin nature of the team's wide-receiver depth chart presents an opportunity for a solid allotment of snaps right out of the gate. Alfaro-Donis notes fellow rookie Dont'e Thornton may serve as Bech's stiffest competition for a potential No. 2 role, but the latter could have an edge due to his upside as a run blocker.
