New York Giants at Chicago Bears Prop Plays

One of the most important things you can do is check the weather at this time of the season. Precipitation, sometimes of the wintry variety, can  affect game play, and cold temperatures and winds can also be a problem.

The National Weather Service has issued a gale watch through Sunday night, with winds out of the north gusting to 35 knots, which equates to 40 MPH. In addition, there is a winter weather watch, but that wintry precipitation isn't expected to take place until after the game concludes. Fur Sunday's game, wind is the biggest factor, with temperatures in the mid-30's, and winds sustained at 20-25 MPH. That will severely affect the passing and kicking games for both sides.

For instance, with such strong, swirling winds at Soldier Field, teams will think twice about attempting long field goals. And, it's possible teams consider two-point conversions rather than point-after attempts.

Let's go low on Giants QB Jaxson Dart's passing yardage. He has throw for 202 yards or fewer in five of his six starts, with the lone exception, 283 yards in Denver in Week 7. His passing yardage target is 206.5 yards, so let's go Under on that.

In addition, WRs Wan'Dale Robinson and Darius Slayton are the top options in the passing game for Dart. Robinson could see plenty of work on short to intermediate routes despite the ugly weather. I'd stay away from playing the Under on Robinson or a guy like TE Theo Johnson.

However, for Slayton, he has posted five catches for 57 yards on 11 targets in the past two road games, going for 31 or fewer yards in both contests. Again, the weather will be ugly, and the big downfield looks will be few and far between.

Going back to Dart, he will likely be running for his life, and with rookie Cam Skattebo out with a dislocated ankle, the rookie quarterback might be the best bet on the ground. RBs Tyrone Tracy Jr. and Devin Singletary are in the mix, but their target yardage totals aren't nearly as attractive. Dart needs to get to 37 yards, and that's a number he could reach against a Chicago defense allowing 5.1 yards per carry (YPC), 29th in the NFL. With the generous Bears defense, and a more ground-oriented attack due to the weather, Dart is a good play.

Best Prop Pick: Giants QB Jaxson Dart - Under 206.5 Passing Yards (-114 FanDuel)

Best Prop Pick: Giants RB Jaxson Dart - Over 36.5 Rushing Yards (-114 FanDuel)

Best Prop Pick: Giants WR Darius Slayton - Under 39.5 Receiving Yards (-114 FanDuel)

Detroit Lions at Washington Commanders Prop Plays

The Washington Commanders have allowed 2,417 passing yards, 19 touchdowns and 34 passing plays of 20 or more yards, with nine pass plays of 40+ yards. The latter ties for the most in the NFL with the equally leaky pass defense of the Dallas Cowboys.

In addition, the Commanders allow 8.8 yards per passing attempt, which is actually the worst mark in the NFL. It should be a big day for the Detroit Lions passing attack.

Lions QB Jared Goff passed for 284 yards in a home loss to the Minnesota Vikings last weekend. That was his second-highest passing total outside of a 334-yard performance in Week 2 against the Chicago Bears. In Washington, Goff's O/U passing total number is 247.5, but he could get to the 300-yard mark against the Commanders, who offer very little resistance. So if you're a little more adventurous, 275+ Passing Yards (+172) pays well, and a 300+ game (+300) can help you triple up. Let's take Goff to get to 300 yards for the 3x win!

Somebody has to camp Under those Goff passes downfield, too. TE Sam LaPorta and WR Amon-Ra St. Brown each had 97 receiving yards last week against the Vikings, while WR Jameson Williams went for 66 yards and a score. We're going to go high on all of them in Washington, with LaPorta was the best value, and Williams second-best.

Best Prop Pick: Lions QB Jared Goff - 300+ Passing Yards (+300 FanDuel)

Best Prop Pick: Lions TE Sam LaPorta - Over 44.5 Receiving Yards (-114 FanDuel)

Best Prop Pick: Lions WR Jameson Williams - Over 46.5 Receiving Yards (-114 FanDuel)

Best Prop Pick: Lions WR Amon-Ra St. Brown - Over 79.5 Receiving Yards (-114 FanDuel)
