Best NFL Week 14 PrizePicks Plays - Monday Night Football
It was a rough Sunday at the office for our PrizePicks plays, but I didn't hate the reads.
The Bills vs. Bengals game turned into a real-life snow globe, and in hindsight that would've made me like the Chase Brown number even more. However, he got absolutely stifled for 23 yards on 12 carries. He did have a great fantasy performance, at least, for those rostering him in other formats. Dalton Kincaid got there and looked great alongside Dawson Knox. Again the Bengals had a tough time containing opposing tight ends.
The one that stung the most -- and was in every single slip I played -- was J.J. McCarthy. He had the most efficient game of his career yet still fell short of 186.5 passing yards because Jayden Daniels went down early for the Commanders. Washington's offense couldn't push the Vikings into passing much in the second half. We will continue going after Washington's seconday when the weather is optimal, but that one definitely hurts.

Saquon Barkley 70.5 Rushing Yards (MORE)
Both the Eagles and Chargers have quietly been getting exposed in the run game after starting the season looking stout. The Bears embarrassed Philadelphia's front seven on Black Friday in front of the entire country, but with uncertainty around the workload distribution and the Chargers thin on the offensive line, I'm hesitant to trust their ground game. As for the Chargers run defense, the Jaguars absolutely dominated the line of scrimmage and wore them down in the second half last week, and we could see the same here. Los Angeles ranks 30th out of 32 teams in explosive runs allowed, and although Barkley hasn't been great this season, few players are more explosive when he finds a crease.
Cameron Dicker 8.5 Fantasy Score (MORE)
The Eagles rank in the lower half of the league in fantasy points allowed to opposing kickers, and Dicker -- one of the most accurate kickers in NFL history -- will not face any weather concerns with Monday's game being played in a dome. All of that is enough for me to like this spot.
Monday's game is not expected to be a shootout, and with the offensive line shorthanded and the quarterback playing through a broken wrist, I expect head coach Jim Harbaugh and the Chargers to lean conservative in scoring territory. That should lead to ample opportunities for Dicker.
Omarion Hampton 11.5 Receiving Yards (MORE)
This is a bit of a galaxy-brain play, but in what I expect to be a low-scoring game lacking fantasy fireworks, we have to get creative.
Hampton is on track to return to action after missing seven games with an ankle injury. We don't know how many carries he will get, but given the length of his absence and the Chargers essentially playing a playoff game, I expect he will get about 50 percent of the snaps while Kimani Vidal gets the rest. The fact this number is as high as it is supports that.
Where I do anticipate Hampton to be heavily involved is in passing situations and crucial third-down snaps. Even as a rookie, Hampton excels in pass protection and is already an elite receiving back. That's exactly what the Chargers need with their banged-up offensive line. Before he went down, Hampton had a streak of three straight games with at least five receptions. Designed pass plays and screens, chip-and-release routes, desperation tosses from a pressured Herbert are all on the table here. With Hampton's playmaking ability, I might even have some fun and ladder this one.
