DraftKings LoL LCS: Sunday Cheat Sheet

Today is another exciting day of NALCS action with two headlining games: Immortals vs. Cloud 9 and TSM vs. CLG. The heaviest favorites of the day are Team Liquid and NRG. Team Liquid present the best fantasy upside against Renegades in a game they should have no issue winning. Cloud 9 are the upside value plays as they will be the underdog against Immortals, but it's certainly possible they could upset. Just depends on how confident you are in C9.

Daily Player Recommendations:

Top Lane:
Hauntzer (TSM vs. CLG, $6,200): Hauntzer is probably the most consistent performer for TSM at the moment. His split push has provided good results for TSM, but he's also been able to translate it into huge chunks of damage in team fights. He's similar to his lane opponent, Darshan, in that regard, only the case can be made for Hauntzer performing better in the KDA department right now. At this cheap salary I think he's a good play today.

Other Suggestions: Lourlo (TL vs. REN, $7,100), Huni (IMT vs. C9, $7,300)

Top Lane Player to Avoid:
Feng (TIP vs. DIG, $6,400): Feng is averaging 5.4 PPG on DraftKings at the moment. I don't think I need to tell you that's pretty bad. I wouldn't be shocked if TIP won this game, but I don't think Feng provides much fantasy upside.

Jungle:
Dardoch (TL vs. REN, $6,800): Dardoch is in a pretty good position to be the top scoring jungler today. Team Liquid should have an easy time with Renegades and Dardoch has been pretty dominant in TL wins this season. Look for him to put up 30+ points today.

Other Suggestions: Reignover (IMT vs. C9, $6,900), Xmithie (CLG vs. TSM, $6,100)

Jungle Player to Avoid:
Moon (NRG vs. FOX, $7,100): Moon is the most expensive jungler on today's slate but I don't see the upside. NRG should win this game, but Moon hasn't had much impact in fantasy terms this season. I think for his salary and limited upside he's an easy fade.

Middle Lane:
Bjergsen (TSM vs. CLG, $7,100): This is a big game for TSM. They're starting to play slightly better going into this rivalry game with CLG and it's a good chance for them to show their true potential as a team. Bjerg probably isn't the safest mid laner today, but for his price he has good upside potential in a TSM win.

Other Suggestions: Fenix (TL vs. REN, $7,900), Shiphtur (DIG vs. TIP, $6,900)

Mid Laner to Avoid:
Pirean (TIP vs. DIG, $7,200): Pirean has had some good performances this year, but he isn't really a trustworthy fantasy play. His salary makes him worth a look, but I'd rather have Shiphtur in this game for a lower salary.

ADC:
WildTurtle (IMT vs. C9, $8,000): You'd be hard pressed to find a more reliable ADC from a fantasy perspective as Turtle is enjoying a great split for Immortals. I think Piglet could possibly present more upside in an easier game Sunday, but if you were worried about using Turtle in what appears to be a tougher matchup, I think your fears should be put aside.

Other Suggestions: Piglet (TL vs. REN, $7,900), Doublelift (TSM vs. CLG, $7,200)

ADC Player to Avoid:
Sitxxay (CLG vs. TSM, $7,200): Stixxay has played well this split and if CLG wins he will probably be a solid play. But I like TSM in this one. I think they've been focusing on this game since their Week One loss and Doublelift especially will want to make a point. As such Stixxay is a risky play on Sunday.

Support:
Gate (TIP vs. DIG, $5,300): He's a good cheap option at support. This game could lead to a lot of kills and team fights making Gate a good shot at reaching 10+ assists. TIP should be favored in this game as well so I would use Gate as my cheap support option today.

Other Suggestions:Matt (TL vs. REN, $5,900), Aphromoo (CLG vs. TSM, $5,900)

Support Player to Avoid:
KonKwon (NRG vs. FOX, $6,100): This comes down to the fact that KonKwon is the most expensive support. NRG should win this game and KonKwon has a chance to get 10+ assists. The game also has the potential to be a quick though and as such KonKwon could come just shy of the bonus assist total.

Team:
Cloud 9 vs. IMT ($3,600): Let me preface this by saying this is definitely not the safest pick. That being said Cloud 9 has looked very strong as of late and as such, present the best chance of taking out Immortals thus far. This is a great GPP play in my opinion, as C9 are objective focused and in a close game could present a good chance to get near 20 points even in a loss. Like I said it's not the safe bet, but the savings could end up having big upside.
