DraftKings LoL: Saturday Cheat Sheet

Back again for Day Three. Group C sits Saturday out which means we lose out on H2K Gaming, Edward Gaming, AHQ eSports, and INTZ eSports. Team SoloMid, ROX Tigers, Counter Logic Gaming and SK Telecom T1 are priced as the biggest favorites on the day and rightfully so. For some reason Royal Never Give Up are priced very cheaply on DraftKings Saturday against Samsung Galaxy. I'm not sure why as they've played great through two games and should be favored heading into this matchup. The bulk of my lineup comes from cheap RNG players, but be forewarned that I'm sure they'll be chalky. You can still win a tournament with an RNG stack, but it means your differential plays need to be correct. In the other game on the slate, I'd expect Cloud9 and Flash Wolves to have a very close game, but my lean is towards Flash Wolves in this one.

Top Lane: Looper (RNG vs. SSG, $6,100) and Impact (C9 vs. FW, $6,000)

Smeb is on the slate so if you want to pay up for him in a favorable matchup, by all means you can. But you'll miss out on some more carry oriented players in other roles if you do so. I'm going with two cheap top laners instead. Looper has been a teamfighting beast so far in this tournament, with well timed teleports to make plays across the map. I'm favoring RNG in this matchup even though their priced as underdogs. While I'm not sure C9 win against FW, I think the game will be back and forth and Impact is worth using over GorillA who I originally had in my flex spot. Despite getting dominated by SKT yesterday, Impact finished with a respectable 4/3/4 KDA and 19.7 points on DraftKings. He gets an easier top lane opponent Saturday and should be able to put up a respectable scoreline in a win or loss.

Jungle: mlxg (RNG vs. SSG, $5,800)

mlxg is one of the best carry oriented junglers in this tournament and he showed why Friday. He's priced cheaply and should exceed his value against Samsung. It should be noted that if Bengi (SKT vs. IM) is guaranteed to play, he's underpriced at $6,700.

Middle Lane: Maple (FW vs. C9 , $7,400)

While Jensen received a lot of hype coming into the tournament, I actually think Maple is a better player. While I'm not positive Flash Wolves win this game, I think Maple wins his lane and like Impact, should get his in a win or loss. If you have the money to pay up for a Bjergsen or Faker, do it, but Maple provides good value today as well.

ADC: Bang (SKT vs. IM, $8,400) and Uzi (RNG vs. SSG, $6,900)

Like yesterday we're going to be using Bang and Uzi in our lineups once again. Both proved why you want to use them, with Bang having an excellent KDA in a quick win and Uzi coming through with 10 kills. The only concern with Bang is that if SKT finish games too quickly, he may not reach a high enough kill total to truly come through on his value. But that is a risk I'm willing to take with a player of his caliber.

Support: Mata (RNG vs. SSG $4,900)

Way too cheap for a player who should get over 10 assists, Mata has to be the play in the support role today. He'll be the chalk play, but as a person who always tries to pay as little as possible for my support, there's nowhere else to look.

Team: RNG vs. SSG ($4,400)

RNG are priced as the underdog in this matchup, but I'm not sure why. I think they win and the savings you get by using them as your team allows you to pay up for some strong plays in your lineup today. Ride the RNG train while it's hot.
