DraftKings LoL LCS: Saturday Cheat Sheet
I'm zeroing in on DIG and Renegades to fill out most of my lineups today. I think that'll could be a back and forth game that should produce a lot of fantasy points from both sides. C9 has the easiest matchup of the day against TiP, but as Immortals proved last week even a stomp against TiP can produce good fantasy numbers. Speaking of Immortals, their matchup against TSM will be a close game that could turn objective focused. Be careful using players from this game as it may not be real conducive to fantasy output.
Daily Player Recommendations:
Top Lane:
Impact (NRG vs. FOX, $6,800): Impact is one of the best top laners in the NALCS and he's going up against a rookie in KFO who is playing in only his third professional game. With Froggen being in FOX's mid lane I'm thinking NRG will play around their bottom and top laners in this one, which makes Impact an attractive option to use on Saturday.
Other Suggestions: RF Legendary (REN vs. DIG, $6,200), Darshan (CLG vs. TL, $6,600)
Jungle:
Rush (C9 vs. TiP, $6,600): I think this will be the first game we see the aggressive, carry-focused jungler we grew accustomed to last year. This will be an easy win for C9 and I think we'll see Rush flying around the map picking up kills and assists until the game is over. He's worth his top salary on Saturday.
Other Suggestions: Crumbzz (Ren vs. DIG, $5,700), Kirei (DIG vs. Ren, $5,500)
Middle Lane:
Shiphtur (DIG vs. REN, $6,900): Shiphtur is off to a pretty good split for DIG, posting a very impressive 14/3/17 KDA from Week One, and like I said in my opening remarks, I'm filling out my lineup with a lot of players from this game. This should be a long, back and forth contest that has the best fantasy potential on Saturday.
Other Suggestions: Jensen (C9 vs TiP, $8,300), Fenix (TL vs. CLG, $6,500)
ADC:
Freeze (REN vs. DIG, $7,600): Freeze has been the carry for Renegades so far and should be in line for a good game against DIG Saturday. He and Remi have looked pretty solid in the bottom lane and, like Shiphtur in the mid lane, should present some terrific value should the game stay even as expected.
Other Suggestions: Sneaky (C9 vs. TIP, $8,800), Altec (NRG vs. FOX, $8,300)
Support:
Remi (REN vs. DIG, $5,500): I'm pairing Remi with Freeze as I'm leaning towards Renegades winning this matchup. Either way, a long game presents her with a good chance to rack up multiple assists. Considering Remi is only sporting the fifth-highest salary on DraftKings, her cheap price tag gives you more than enough reasons to roll with her Saturday.
Other Suggestions: Kiwikid (DIG vs. REN, $5,300), KonKwon (NRG vs. FOX, $6,100)
Team:
Cloud9 vs. Team Impulse ($5,300): Usually I don't like paying up for a team, but with cheaper options available across the board, you can afford to pay up today. Yes, this game should be a stomp, but I don't expect Cloud9 to win as fast as Immortals did last week vs. TiP. That should lead to Cloud9 taking plenty of objectives and still having a shot at the sub 30 minute win bonus.
