DraftKings LoL: Friday Cheat Sheet
Today we have some clear favorites in H2K (vs. ROCCAT), G2 (vs. Origen), and Fnatic (vs. GIANTS). Schalke 04 vs. Unicorns of Love and Vitality vs. Splyce look like they could end in ties, but I think both games present us with some value today.
Top Lane: Cabochard (VIT vs. SPY, $6,400)
With many of the big teams in clear cut matchups, we need to look for value in the top lane. Cabochard has shown signs in recent weeks of that he could be returning to his old carry style and with champions like Irelia remaining popular, he could go off at any time. The matchup isn't particularly scary and with Shook back (I don't understand why he was ever benched) Vitality may be able to come back to their Spring form.
Jungle: Spirit (FNC vs. GIA , $7,100)
Spirit is the top priced jungler on the slate, but I think he's worth it. GIANTS have been playing better lately, but they still aren't on Fnatic's level. Spirit's aggressive style lends itself to fantasy and he's had some dominant games in the last few weeks. I also like Spirit, Jankos, Shook, and if you're feeling risky, Move.
Middle Lane: Febiven (FNC vs. GIA, $8,200)
Night has been GIANTS most consistent player and a huge part of their revival the last few weeks, but I don't think he'll enjoy such fortunes today. Febiven is still one of the best mid laners in Europe and should help carry Fnatic to two easy wins. There are plenty of other good matchups today so if you want to pivot to Perkz, Ryu, or Exileh on the cheap side, I can't blame you.
ADC: Zven (G2 vs. OG, $8,000)
You know I have to get some G2 love in here today. I can't afford Rekkles, but even if I could, I would probably still go for Zven. He's up against his old team and even though xPeke played much better yesterday I don't think he presents much of a threat to Zven.
Support: Hylissang (UoL vs. S04, $4,700)
I'm paying up at jungle, mid, and AD Carry, so I need some value in these last two spots. UoL have been having an up-and-down split and while they're the underdogs I think they can split the series. Hylissang hasn't had the best split, but he still has enough ability to reach the bonus assist total at least once today.
Team: UoL vs. S04 ($4,100)
Again we need value here, and thanks to some pretty cut-and-dry matchups, there likely won't be a top team that can provide significant value. UoL aren't very consistent, but I can definitely see them taking at least one game off of Schalke. Everyone is pretty hyped over S04, but are they really that much better than these other mid level teams?
