G2 (2–1) vs. Virtus.pro (0–2)

G2 will hope to bounce back after a surprising 2-0 loss to OG. The Frenchmen were unable to break double digits on both Mirage and Dust2, and the likes of JaCkz and kennyS were unable to find the same type of success as they did against FaZe and TYLOO to start the season. Despite the loss, huNter continues to put up excellent numbers for G2, and he will make for a strong play once again as G2 take on a Virtus.pro side that is winless this season. Surprisingly, he is still the lowest-priced player on G2 and he will likely be very highly owned as a result. On the side of Virtus.pro, I favor the duo of Jame and qikert who have put up solid numbers despite the poor results. qikert currently leads the team with a K/D ratio of 1.20 and a team-high 0.69 kills/round. Jame has been no slouch either, with a K/D ratio of 1.17 and 0.68 kills/round. However, it is worth noting that Jame gets very few assists as he relies heavily on the AWP, in fact, even more so than your average AWPer.

G2 Players to Target: huNter ($6,200), kennyS ($6,800)
Virtus.pro Players to Target: Jame ($5,800), qikert ($5,200)

Dignitas (1–3) vs. Orgless (2–3)

Dignitas will take on Orgless in the Group C lower bracket. This will be the second time that these two teams have faced off against each other, and both teams have a win apiece. It is also worth noting that both of these matches have gone to a decider map. On the side of Dignitas, f0rest has been the clear standout. He is the only player with a positive K/D ratio (1.15) on his team so far with a team-high 0.76 kills/round. These are impressive numbers and he is the most expensive player on the slate as a result. Personally, f0rest is the only player that I feel confident about rostering on Dignitas, but if you want to go for a cheaper option then I would take a chance on GeT_RiGhT. He currently has the highest success rate in opening duels on Dignitas with a 50.00 percent success rate, and he is the only player on his team who has a positive rating in this regard (1.07). There are three names that stand out on the side Orgless, and that is WARDELL, yay and Infinite. If I could only pick one, it would be WARDELL, who is a very dominant AWPer. He had a great showing in both meetings with Dignitas, posting a K/D differential of +16 and +22.

Dignitas Players to Target: f0rest ($8,800)
Orgless Players to Target: WARDELL ($6,800), Infinite ($7,400), yay ($6,200)

MiBR (4–1) vs. Gen.G (2–2)

MiBR will be taking on Gen.G in what will be a rematch of the first group stage phase — a match in which MiBR got the better of Gen.G by a score of 2–0. MiBR came in as the underdog in the first meeting, but the odds have swayed in slight favor of the Brazilians this time around. Both fer and kNgV- had a solid showing for MiBR in that match, and I would look to target them once again in this slate. There are several viable options on Gen.G, but it is autimatic and koosta who have made up most of the fragging for their team thus far. However, I would take a strong look at s0m who has been the top fragger on this team since its inception with 0.75 kills/round. He was outstanding for Gen.G when they won their first ever trophy at DreamHack Open Anaheim, posting a team-high K/D ratio of 1.31 with 0.84 kills/round.

MIBR Players to Target: fer ($7,800), kNgV ($7,200)
Gen.G Players to Target: autimatic ($7,400), koosta ($7,800), s0m ($7,000)

Evil Geniuses (1-1) vs. FURIA (2-0)

FURIA defeated their Brazilian rivals MiBR by a score of 2–1 in their last outing. KSCERATO has made a habit of going huge against MiBR and he had yet another brilliant performance this time around, posting a K/D differential of +25 with a team-high 61 kills. The FURIA players were completely underpriced in the last slate and they are all very cheap once again. I would target the trio of KSCERATO, HEN1 and yuurih who tend to put up the big numbers for FURIA. KSCERATO should be the most popular option, and yuurih and HEN1 will be viable pivots for those who want to pursue a contrarian strategy in GPPs. However, it is worth noting that they will be going up against far tougher competition this time around in the form of Evil Geniuses. The North American side is coming off a 2–0 victory against Swole Patrol, and it was tarik who emerged as the top player on the server. He will likely be a popular option once more as the cheapest player on EG. Personally, I would pivot to Ethan who has been the stronger player for EG overall. Since EG was formed, Ethan has amassed the higher K/D ratio (1.04 vs 0.92) as well as kills/round (0.69 vs 0.64) and assists/round (0.15 vs 0.13).

Evil Geniuses Players to Target: Brehze ($8,400), CeRq ($8,200), Ethan ($8,000)
FURIA Players to Target: KSCERATO ($6,000), yuurih ($6,000), HEN1 ($6,400)
