The first match of the day features the surprise of the tournament, with Heretics sitting on an undefeated 2-0 record going into match day 3. Meanwhile, Complexity have struggled in Road to Rio, falling to an 0-2 record, with a tough task ahead to qualify. Complexity will look to turn around, with k0nfig and blameF in particular needing to pick up the slack. Heretics will look to young stars Maka and Nivera, who have been two of the players of the tournament, and are establishing themselves internationally. In what could be one of the tightest matches of the day, young stars will decide the match, with Complexity looking for poizon and oBo to match the firepower of Maka and Nivera.

Vitality (1-1) vs. Astralis (1-1)

The second match of the early block is between two European giants, with Vitality taking on Astralis, both teams looking to move to 2-1. Astralis come in off an extremely close match to World no.1 Fnatic, falling 2-1. Meanwhile, Vitality had a 2-1 victory over Complexity, and will look to continue their winning ways with an upset Tuesday. The key players for Astralis will be the same core that has seen them crowned major champions four times, with device and dupreeh leading the team. Vitality, on the other hand, look to superstar ZywOo alongside veteran apEX to stun the Danish giants. ZywOo will be in the spotlight, with an exceptional 1.20 rating over the last three months, beating out even device's 1.18. The value in this match could come from the veterans on Vitality, with shox and apEX both looking towards vintage performances.

VIT Players to target: ZywOo ($14,100 Captain, $9,400 Flex), shox ($7,800 Captain, $5,200 Flex)

A Players to Target: device ($12,600 Captain, $8,400 Flex), magisk ($12,300 Captain, $8,200 Flex)

FaZe Clan (2-0) vs. Movistar Riders (2-0)

The final match of the early block is a 2-0 clash that no one expected, with Movistar Riders and FaZe Clan both vying for a perfect 3-0 start to the group stage. FaZe Clan come in with exceptional form from their superstars, with NiKo, broky and rain all playing terrific CS. Movistar Riders had a massive 2-0 upset of mousesports and will look to continue that good form against FaZe. With alex, steel and mopoz all performing well, MR have shown they they can upset anyone at any time. Especially impressive for Movistar Riders has been steel, who is currently averaging 66 kills per match in ESL Road to Rio.

FaZe Players to Target: NiKo ($15,300 Captain, $10,200 Flex), broky ($11,700 Captain, $7,800 Flex)

MR Players to Target: alex ($10,800 Captain, $7,200 Flex), steel ($9,000 Captain, $6,000 Flex)

Evil Geniuses (1-1) vs. Cloud9 (1-1)

Starting the day off in North America is a clash of 1-1 giants, with Cloud9 taking on Evil Geniuses to open the late block. Evil Geniuses come in as favorites despite an upset defeat to 100 Thieves, and they will look to solidify a 2-1 group start with a win. Cloud9 come in looking to recover after opening the group with a 2-1 defeat to Triumph, following that up with a victory over Orgless. This match will be determined by depth: Brezhe, floppy and CeRq are all players who will show up and take hold of a match. The difference will come in the supports, with stanislaw and JT looking to be the impact players. Cloud9 will especially need JT to far exceed his three-month average rating of 0.88, well off the pace against a team like EG. The value is likely to come from those supports as well, with this match looking likely for a turnaround performance from EG.

EG Players to Target: Ethan ($10,500 Captain, $7,000 Flex), stanislaw ($9,600 Captain, $6,400 Flex)

C9 Players to Target: floppy ($11,100 Captain, $7,400 Flex), oSee ($10,500 Captain, $7,000 Flex)

Orgless (0-2) vs. Gen.G (2-0)

Editor's note: Orgless have dropped out of the competition and Gen.G will not play Tuesday.

The second match of the North American block is between two up-and-coming lineups, the international mix team of Gen.G against the North American side Orgless. Gen.G have been one of the strongest teams of the tournament, opening with a 2-0 win over 100 Thieves, followed by a 2-1 over Triumph. Orgless, on the other hand, have struggled by falling 2-0 to Evil Geniuses and 2-1 to Cloud9. Orgless will look towards Infinite and WARDELL, who have provided the firepower for the team, while Gen.G field a plethora of offensive talent. Whether it's autimatic, s0m, BnTeT or koosta, Gen.G have shown that they field a wide array of top-tier fragging talent. Specifically, koosta could make the difference, as he leads the way with a 1.15 average rating and 0.72 kills per round in the last three months. The value will be dependent on how tightly Orgless managed to keep the match, with Infinite and WARDELL both at reasonable prices.

ORG Players to Target: WARDELL ($11,400 Captain, $7,600 Flex), Infinite ($9,900 Captain, $6,600 Flex)

GenG players to Target: autimatic ($11,700 Captain, $7,800 Flex), s0m ($9,900 Captain, $6,600 Flex)

Triumph (1-1) vs. 100 Thieves (1-1)

While Triumph and 100 Thieves share a 1-1 record, this match looks to be one of the most one-sided of the day. 100 Thieves have been in poor form recently and will look to continue to turn that form around following a 2-1 victory over Evil Geniuses. Before that victory, 100 Thieves suffered losses to MiBR, GenG and Team Liquid, struggling to find even a single map victory. Triumph, on the other hand, sit at 1-1 off the back of a shock upset over Cloud9 and a surprisingly close 2-1 defeat to Gen.G. 100 Thieves will look towards stars Gratisfaction and jks to move to 2-1, while Triumph look to Grim, who has been in fine form over the last three months, admittedly against easier opponents. This match should find solid value in the superstars from 100 Thieves as they look to put forward a statement performance against Triumph.

Tri Players to Target: Grim ($11,100 Captain, $7,400 Flex)

100T Players to Target: jks ($13,500 Captain, $9,000 Flex), jkaem ($10,800 Captain, $7,200 Flex)
