Dhaka Dynamites vs. Sylhet Sixers: 19th Match Preview

Dhaka Dynamites vs. Sylhet Sixers: 19th Match Preview

Dhaka Dynamites rest at the top of the table with four wins in five matches while Sylhet are placed second last after two wins and three losses in their five. After being bowled out for 68 against Comilla Victorians, Sylhet Sixers made a roaring comeback with a win over Rangpur Riders courtesy of a Liton Das and David Warner special and the two are once again in focus before the clash against Dhaka Dynamites.

The last time these two teams met, Dhaka had won by 32 runs but the confidence-boosting win against Rangpur should spruce up the Sixers unit but more importantly, they head into the clash with their skipper half-fit after an elbow injury during his right-handed stint last game.

Conditions: Sylhet has witnessed a few low scoring games and this could be another on a slow, low wicket.

Player Recommendations:

Wicket-keeper: Liton Das:(9 credits)

Liton Das has finally found his groove opening the batting and could be a vital figure in Sylhet's team plans. His flamboyance and flair at the top of the order makes him a great candidate as keeper for this game in your fantasy side. If he gets going, Sylhet could witness a special knock and his technical correctness means he is among the very few likely to click with the bat on Friday.

Batsman: David Warner (10.5 credits)

He might be suffering an elbow injury, but Warner can boss around attacks when in the mood and before he heads to Australia after the next

Batsman: David Warner (10.5 credits)

He might be suffering an elbow injury, but Warner can boss around attacks when in the mood and before he heads to Australia after the next games, the Australian opener will want to stamp his authority in the Bangladesh Premier League with another big knock. He was at his belligerent best against Rangpur and Friday could see him play some of the balls right-handed yet again after the success last game.

All-rounder: Andre Russell (10 credits)

Russell could be promoted up the order again and has this ability to go completely berserk against the run of play. Sylhet's surface won't matter if Russell finds his mojo and Dhaka Dynamites would be hoping he does. A big one is in the offing from Russell and you will not want to miss out when he gets into one of special moods.

Bowler: Sandeep Lamichhane (9 credits)

With a plethora of tricks up his sleeve, Lamichhane is a special bowler and the sluggishness of the Sylhet surface should suit him. The last game here saw very low scores and Lamichhane should be a game-changer with his variations. Expect him to play a massive role on Friday.

Captain: Andre Russell

Vice-captain: David Warner
