Both the Delhi Capitals and Chennai Super Kings registered a win in their respective opening games in the Indian Premier League, which means that they can go in unchanged into the fifth match of the tournament. CSK have won eight of their last ten games against Delhi, but the home side bears a different look with in-form players this time around, which should give them confidence.
The track at Feroz Shah Kotla has generally assisted the spinners, and with the visiting side having more dangerous tweakers like Harbhajan Singh and Imran Tahir, it is safe to say that they go into the game as favourites.
Player Recommendations:
Wicket-keeper: Rishabh Pant (9.5 credits)
The game between Chennai and Delhi will be much anticipated because it will see Pant face-off against MS Dhoni - the stalwart and the future wicket-keeping superstar of Indian cricket. It however is a safer choice to include Pant in the Dream11 team as he will be high on confidence after plundering 78 in just 27 balls against Mumbai in DC's season-opener. Dhoni's recent form in T20I has not been that inspiring either, and with Pant eager to perform well and seal his World Cup spot, the Delhi star should get a look-in.
Batsman: Shikhar Dhawan (10 credits)
Dhawan has played a lot of cricket at the Kotla and he will know the conditions like the back of his hand. He showed his aggressive mode when he smashed 43 against Mumbai, and the Indian opener

Dhawan has played a lot of cricket at the Kotla and he will know the conditions like the back of his hand. He showed his aggressive mode when he smashed 43 against Mumbai, and the Indian opener will be keen to carry forward his form. He is comfortable against spin as swell, which could give him the advantage against a spin-heavy CSK team.
All-rounder: Ravindra Jadeja (8.5 credits)
The only reason Jadeja should be preferred over Kedar Jadhav is because the former is more or less likely to complete his quota of overs, whereas Jadhav, who is a part-timer, might not be called upon to roll his arms over, which is what panned out in CSK's opener against RCB. On a slow track at Chepauk, the trio of Jadeja-Bhajji-Tahir scalped 8 wickets between themselves, which meant that Dhoni did not need the services of Jadhav. With the Kotla track likely to assist the spinners again, Jadeja can be the X-factor.
Bowler: Imran Tahir (8.5 credits)
The South African is in a purple patch, having picked up 21 wickets across formats in his last 10 games. He started off the IPL with a bang - scalping 3 wickets whilst conceding only 9 runs. With players like Colin Ingram in the rival camp susceptible against spin, Tahir is a must-pick in the team.
