2025 Fantasy Outlook
While Samuel Ersson and Ivan Fedotov were nothing special for the Flyers, Kolosov was just a bit worse. Kolosov posted a 5-9-1 record with a 3.59 GAA and a .867 save percentage over 17 appearances in his first year in the NHL. He also briefly saw some time in the AHL, though Kolosov believes he's an NHL-level goalie right away. Fantasy managers will need more than his word in that regard, especially considering his poor performance in 2024-25, but he does have the advantage of being the youngest of the three goalies on the Flyers' NHL roster. That gives some hope that Kolosov will improve in Year 2, if he gets the opportunity to play enough, though more time at AHL Lehigh Valley may be in his future as well. Read Past Outlooks
Posts shutout Wednesday
Kolosov posted a 31-save shutout in AHL Lehigh Valley's 3-0 win over Hershey on Wednesday.
ANALYSIS
Kolosov has won two outings following the holiday break after losing six straight prior to the pause. For the season, he's now 8-8-1 with a 2.60 GAA and a .906 save percentage. As evidenced earlier in December, Kolosov is the next man up if the Flyers are missing one of their regular goalies, and he's done a good job of staying ready in the AHL.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Could see minutes Thursday
Kolosov might get some playing time on the road against Montreal on Tuesday, Jordan Hall of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports.
ANALYSIS
Kolosov was part of the Flyers' game group at morning skate, but so was Samuel Ersson, who seems likely to get the starting nod. Still, any minutes that Kolosov can get during preseason will hopefully help him secure the No. 2 spot for Opening Night. However, Kolosov will need to impress if he is going to stave off Dan Vladar in the battle for the backup role.
