The Brothers already won the title for the first half of the 2020 CPBL season following their win Tuesday, but the Monkeys will try to keep winning to, at least, and the campaign on a strong note before the break. These two teams already met Tuesday and the Monkeys secured a comfortable 5-1 win behind impressive performances from Lisalverto Bonilla and star slugger Lin Li. There are only a few handful of games before the break and the Monkeys once again look like early favorites ahead of this contest. This is especially true when looking at the pitching matchup, as the Monkeys will send star hurler Ryan Carpenter (with his 3.95 ERA) to the mound. The Guardians will counter with Bryan Woodall, who has struggled during most of the 2020 season and seems bound for another woeful performance against a top offense such as Rakuten's one.

Lin Hung-Yu, Monkeys: Lin has several ways to enter the lineup, as he can operate either as a catcher or as a designated hitter. He costs 12.5 credits, but he could be a strong alternative for offense in a Monkeys-based slate. He went 1-for-4 Tuesday and is hitting .344 on the season.

Kao Kuo-Hui, Guardians: Kao has been one of the best value picks in the entire league, as he ranks into this matchup as one of the best outfielders available despite a low cost of just 9.5 credits. Regardless of the assembled lineup, he seems to be a great option across the board. He has a .308 average after going 0-for-4 Tuesday.

Ryan Carpenter, Monkeys: Carpenter has been one of the most valuable pitchers in the CPBL this season and seems poised for a great performance against a weaker lineup such as the Guardians' one. He owns a solid 3.95 ERA, which is excellent for the CPBL standards.
