Chinatrust Brothers (31-20) at Uni Lions (23-30)
Saturday, July 4th, 5:05 AM EDT
Projected starters
RHP Huang En-Sih (5-0, 3.58 ERA) vs RHP Josh Roenicke (2-3, 6.50 ERA)
Game Preview
The Brothers are at the top of the standings and are the hottest team in the league right now, as they sit 11 games over .500 and are the biggest favorites to win the first half of the season. Meanwhile, the Lions are in a clear rebuilding mode and sit seven games under the .500 mark, meaning they're already thinking about what's coming next. Huang En-Sih will get the start for the Brothers and he made history the last time out – he became the first local pitcher since 2006 to have back to back games with 10 or more strikeouts. He is clearly the ace of this staff despite the hot streak of Jose De Paula. The Lions will counter with Josh Roenicke, who is coming off back-to-back wins and now owns a 6.50 ERA after a slow start to the season. Still, the Brothers seem to have the edge on the pitching department, it seems.

Top picks:
Huang En-Sih, Brothers: Sih has struck out at least 10 in each of his last two starts and seems to be dominating the league at the moment. He has been the best local pitcher in the CPBL during the first half of the season and is a strong bet to deliver another excellent performance against the Lions.
Chou Szu-Chi, Brothers: Chou continues to be one of the best "value picks" in the entire league, as he has been one of the league's best hitters while costing only 8.5 credits, which is a more-than-adequate price. He is coming off a 4-for-5 performance Friday.
Lin An-Ko, Lions: Lin only recorded one hit during Friday's contest, but he continues to mash and it's impossible to leave him out of most lineups. The slugger is also one of the league leaders in the home run department, as he has gone yard 19 times in only 53 games.
Chang Chih-Hao, Brothers: Chang went 2-for-4 with three RBI during Friday's contest and he is hitting a robust .346 while hitting in the middle of the lineup. He forms an excellent one-two punch with Chou Szu-Chi and it would be smart to pair them both in most lineups.
