Grizzlies Roll Past Pistons
The Memphis Grizzlies defeated the visiting Detroit Pistons, 108-90, at FedEx Forum on Friday evening.

The Grizzlies jumped out to a strong start and led, 32-22, after one quarter. They kept the pressure on in the second and pushed ahead to a 19-point cushion by halftime. The Pistons brought a better effort in the third but could not cut into the deficit, as the hosts maintained their 19-point advantage entering the final frame. The visitors had no answers in the fourth, as the Grizzlies secured their third straight win. This also marks the third straight loss for the Pistons.

Trey Jemison totaled 17 points, 13 rebounds, a steal and three blocks, while Maozinha Pererira finished with 17 points, nine rebounds, a steal and a block, to lead the Grizzlies. Scotty Pippen turned in 16 points, three rebounds, seven assists, four steals and a block. Lamar Stevens also stuffed the stat sheet with 15 points, eight rebounds and three steals.

Meanwhile, Jaden Ivey led the Pistons with 31 points, three rebounds and three assists, in 32 minutes. Jalen Duren followed up with 17 points, 10 rebounds and a steal, while Jalylen Nowell chipped in 12 points, three rebounds, two assists, a steal and a block.

The Pistons (13-64) will look to bounce back as they clash with the Nets in Brooklyn on Saturday. The Grizzlies (27-50) play host to the 76ers on Saturday.
