Mavs Defeat Warriors, 108-106
The Dallas Mavericks defeated the visiting Golden State Warriors, 108-106, at American Airlines Center on Friday.

There were 10 ties and 10 lead changes in this game, with all of those happening over the final three quarters. With that said, Dallas never gave up the lead over the final 15 minutes, getting a game-winning lay-up from PJ Washington with 4.5 seconds remaining. Klay Thompson missed a game-winning three at the buzzer. The Mavericks shot 48 percent from the field and 35 percent from three-point range while holding the Warriors to 44 percent from the field and 34 percent from long range.

The Warriors (42-35) were led by Stephen Curry, collecting 28 points, six rebounds and five assists. Klay Thompson totaled 16 points, three rebounds, two assists and three steals. No other starter reached double figures in scoring. Brandin Podziemski led the bench with 14 points, four rebounds and five assists.

The Mavericks (47-30) were led by Washington, finishing with 32 points, five rebounds, three assists, five steals and two blocks. Kyrie Irving compiled 26 points, eight rebounds, seven assists and two steals. Daniel Gafford generated 10 points, 15 rebounds, five assists and three blocks, while Tim Hardaway Jr led the bench with 13 points, three rebounds and three assists.

Both teams return to action on Sunday, with Golden State playing host to the Utah Jazz and Dallas remaining home to face the Houston Rockets.
