Nuggets Confident In Road Win
The Denver Nuggets defeated the host Toronto Raptors, 113-104, at Scotiabank Arena on Wednesday evening.

The Nuggets got out to a strong start and led, 29-20, after one quarter. They maintained a cushion in the second and rallied to a 17-point lead by halftime. The Raptors brought a better effort in the third, but only managed to trim the deficit by two, trailing by 15, going into the final quarter. The hosts kept up the fight in the fourth and cut it to a seven-point game with four minutes to go, but the Nuggets confidently closed out their second straight win.

Nikola Jokic led the Nuggets with 31 points, 15 rebounds, six assists and two blocks, in 38 minutes. Jamal Murray followed up with 20 points, four rebounds, six assists, a steal and two blocks, while Aaron Gordon and Michael Porter added 12 points each.

Meanwhile, Scottie Barnes led the Raptors with 30 points, 10 rebounds, five assists and a blocks, in 33 minutes. Pascal Siakam followed up with 18 points and five rebounds, while Precious Achiuwa totaled 13 points, five rebounds, a steal and a block.

The Raptors (11-16) will look to bounce back as they take on the 76ers in Philly on Friday. The Nuggets (19-10) clash with the Nets in Brooklyn on Friday.
