Celtics Defeat Hawks in Game 6, 128-120, Advance to ECF
The Boston Celtics defeated the host Atlanta Hawks, 128-120, in Game 6 of the Eastern Conference First-Round Playoffs at State Farm Arena on Thursday.

Boston won this series, 4-2. They will face the Philadelphia 76ers in the Eastern Conference Semi-Finals.

There were 15 ties and 22 lead changes in this game, with neither team leading by more than 10 points. Boston rode a 30-23 fourth quarter to their win, ripping off an 11-0 run in that frame to take control of this game. The Celtics shot 50 percent from the field and 94 percent from the free-throw line, while the Hawks shot 47 percent from the field and 77 percent from the charity stripe. Boston also outscored Atlanta in fastbreak scoring, 18-4.

The Celtics (4-2) were led by Jaylen Brown, collecting 32 points, five rebounds and two assists. Jayson Tatum tallied 30 points, 14 rebounds, seven assists and two blocks. Marcus Smart accrued 22 points, four rebounds and four assists, while Al Horford had 10 points, 12 rebounds, four assists, two steals and three blocks. Malcolm Brogdon led the bench with 17 points, two rebounds and four assists.

The Hawks (2-4) were led by Trae Young, finishing with 30 points, three rebounds, 10 assists and two blocks. De'Andre Hunter amassed 20 points and six rebounds. John Collins compiled 16 points, four rebounds and two blocks. Dejounte Murray generated 14 points, seven rebounds and 11 assists, while Clint Capela collected 10 points, 10 rebounds and two assists.
