Heat Come From Behind To Defeat Magic
The Miami Heat defeated the Orlando Magic, 123-110, at Miami-Dade Arena on Sunday afternoon.

The Heat (44-38) had already locked up a spot in the Play-In Tournament and the Magic (34-48) were eliminated. As such, there was nothing to play for but pride and the local rivalry between these two teams. Orlando looked good and enjoyed a stronger start following a 24-23 score in the first 12 minutes. The Heat responded with a 29-26 score in the second quarter, however, so the Heat held a two-point lead after the opening 24 minutes. The Magic recovered the advantage following a 35-32 score in the third quarter, and they held a one-point lead with only 12 minutes left. The Heat didn’t want the game to slip away from them, though. Miami won the final 12 minutes by a 39-25 score, which was enough to secure the victory in Udonis Haslem’s final regular-season as a Heat player. The Heat end the season with a 27-14 mark at home. Meanwhile, the Magic end the season with a 14-27 score on the road.

Haywood Highsmith was the only starter who played more than 12 minutes for the Heat, but even in that scenario, no starter scored more than four points. Udonis Haslem was Miami’s top scorer with a season-high 24 points while also adding three rebounds. Duncan Robinson notched 20 points, four assists and two boards. Jamal Cain had 18 points and five rebounds. Victor Oladipo notched 19 points, eight assists and two rebounds. Omer Yurtseven posted 14 points and seven rebounds.

Caleb Houstan led the Magic with 21 points. Franz Wagner recorded 10 points, four rebounds, three assists and two steals. Chuma Okeke recorded 14 points, five assists, four rebounds and three steals. Kevon Harris had 22 points, eight rebounds and two assists.
