Daily Games Cheat Sheet: Sunday-Monday Contests

This article is part of our Daily Games Cheat Sheet series.

TEAM ANALYSIS

Defenses to Avoid
Atlanta Hawks at Cleveland Cavaliers: The Hawks are, at least right now, an offense to avoid in general. Their stars aren't playing up to par, and it doesn't get any easier for them in Game 3 on the road in Cleveland down 0-2 in the series. Atlanta has been hit hard with injuries, and besides the obvious fill-ins like Kent Bazemore, there's not much to take advantage of.

Offenses to Use
Golden State Warriors at Houston Rockets: The Warriors are simply pounding the Rockets. Pretty much anyone getting decent minutes on Golden State is a candidate to fill your roster for Sunday-Monday contests, which incidentally looks like it may be one of the last sets of fantasy basketball contests for the season.

First game of a back-to-back: None
Second game of a back-to-back: None

DraftKings.com DAILY PLAYER RECOMMENDATIONS

Point Guard
Stephen Curry, PG, GS ($10,500): Curry had a phenomenal game on Saturday and is one of two true studs left in the player pool. It may not be a bad course of action to grab Curry - who went for 47 DraftKings points in his "worst" game in the Western Conference Finals - and pair him with LeBron James.

Other suggestions: Jeff Teague (at CLE), Matthew Dellavedova (vs. ATL)

Shooting Guard
Kent Bazemore, SG, ATL ($2,500):Kyle Korver is out for the season, and a lot of his minutes could come Bazemore's way. He's not a high-ceiling guy, but at this price, he's worth a flier if it helps you fit both Stephen Curry and LeBron James in your lineups.

Other suggestions: J.R. Smith (vs. ATL), Klay Thompson (at HOU)

Small Forward
LeBron James, SF, CLE ($11,400):LeBron James is really good at basketball. He dropped 60 DraftKings points in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Finals and could certainly go off yet again against a depleted Hawks team. If Kyrie Irving (foot/knee) is out again, the onus will fall on James to carry the load, and that means he needs to be in your DraftKings lineup.

Other suggestions: Harrison Barnes (at HOU), Josh Smith (vs. GS)

Power Forward
Tristan Thompson, PF, CLE ($6,300): Thompson keeps putting up big DraftKings scores without scoring a ton, which is an encouraging sign for when he finally gets it going on the offensive end. He's a near-lock for a double-double at this point and is capable of making value on his rebounding and shot blocking alone on some nights.

Other suggestions: Paul Millsap (vs. CLE)

Center
Timofey Mozgov, C, CLE ($4,900): Mozgov is the best choice at center due to his high floor and the fact that he doesn't really cost much in relation to the other options on the board. At worst, Mozgov probably gets you 15-20 DraftKings points. At best, he can challenge for 30-35, making him a fairly safe pick when you factor in his salary.

Other suggestions: Andrew Bogut (at HOU)
