Elite Players
Guards
Donovan Mitchell, Cavaliers
($9,200) vs. Bucks
Mitchell reached the 30-point mark in each of the last two games and is averaging 28.4 points, 7.4 rebounds, 6.0 assists and 1.8 steals over his last five appearances, including a high of 63.3 DK points. He has a great chance to pad his stats against the Bucks, who give up the league's fourth-most free throws per game to opposing point guards.
Anthony Edwards, Timberwolves
($9,100) vs. Mavericks
Edwards is averaging 30.8 points, 5.4 rebounds, 4.4 assists and 1.6 steals over the last five games, including three with more than 50 DK points. He is up for an ideal opportunity to shine against a Mavs team that is giving up the league's eighth-most points per game to opposing shooting guards. The Mavs are also significantly shorthanded in the frontcourt, which should allow for an easier time getting to the rim.
Forwards/Centers
Scottie Barnes, Raptors
($8,500) vs. Hornets
Barnes has reached the 60 DK-point mark twice this season, both coming within the last seven games. He is averaging 18.7 points, 8.9 rebounds, 5.9 assists, 1.6 steals and 2.6 blocks across that span, during which he also delivered five double-doubles with points and rebounds. He has a good chance to keep rolling against the Hornets, who are giving up the league's fourth-highest field-goal percentage and seventh-most turnovers per game.
Julius Randle, Timberwolves
($8,100) vs. Mavericks
Randle is averaging 23.4 points, 8.2 rebounds, 7.2 assists and 1.6 steals over the last five games, including three with more than 50 DK points and one triple-double. He has a fantastic opportunity to prosper against the Mavericks, who are giving up the league's fourth-most points in the paint and third-most rebounds per game. Dallas is also shorthanded in the frontcourt.
Chet Holmgren, Thunder
($7,800) at Pelicans
Holmgren topped the 20-point mark in three of the last four games and is averaging 20.0 points, 7.3 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.0 steals over that span. He should continue to deliver solid numbers against a struggling Pelicans squad that is giving up the league's eighth-most points in the paint and the league's most blocks per game to opposing power forwards.
Expected Chalk
James Harden, Clippers
($9,900) at 76ers
Harden continues to stuff the stat sheet, averaging 29.8 points, 7.8 rebounds, 9.6 assists and 0.8 blocks over the last five games, including two triple-doubles and a high of 87.0 DK points. He is likely to keep up the production against the 76ers, who continue to deal with a handful of injuries. Harden must also continue to amp up his scoring contribution in the absence of Kawhi Leonard.
Mid-Range Money
Immanuel Quickley, Raptors
($6,700) vs. Hornets
Quickley is averaging 20.2 points, 4.6 rebounds, 6.0 assists and 1.0 steals over the last five games, including two with over 40 DK points and a high of 46.5. He should do well against the Hornets, who are giving up the league's eighth-most points and second-highest field-goal percentage to opposing point guards.
John Collins, Clippers
($5,300) at 76ers
Collins is up for a fifth consecutive start for his shorthanded squad after he averaged 9.0 points, 4.0 rebounds, 0.8 steals and 0.8 blocks across the last four games, where he reached the 20 DK-point mark twice. He faces a favorable matchup against the 76ers' shorthanded frontcourt and should have plenty of touches as his own side remains without a couple of key contributors.
Value Picks
Miles McBride, Knicks
($4,300) at Heat
McBride finished with 20.5 DK points on nine points, four rebounds and four assists in the last game, where he started in place of the injured Jalen Brunson. McBride is up for a second straight start and should find room to get his shot going against the Heat, who are giving up the league's third-most made threes to opposing point guards.
Ronald Holland, Pistons
($4,900) vs. Pacers
Holland started in the last four games for his shorthanded squad, and he averaged 8.0 points, 4.0 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 2.3 steals over that span, including three outings with at least 20 DK points. He may not be up for another start, as there is a chance that either Ausar Thompson or Cade Cunningham make their return to the lineup, but he should definitely still be up for a boost, as Tobias Harris is confirmed as remaining out.
Ryan Kalkbrenner, Hornets
($4,600) at Raptors
Kalkbrenner is averaging 11.8 points, 7.2 rebounds and 2.4 blocks across his last five appearances, including two games with more than 35 DK points. He faces a tough matchup against the Raptors' frontcourt, but he should pad his stats at the foul line, as they are giving up the league's fifth-most free throws per game.
