Tuesday night brings only six games on the NBA schedule and while the majority of the games aren't great matchups, the evening is highlighted by the Thunder taking on the Spurs. This is yet another slate of games that makes you thankful to have FanDuel to spice up the evening. Let's take a look at some of the better plays to hopefully earn you some money.
John Wall, WAS vs. NY ($10,500): Wall crushed the Knicks less than two weeks ago when he scored 58.5 FanDuel points. He has continued to play well since then, as he has scored at least 49.9 FanDuel points in two of his last three games. This has the makings of another big performance against a bad defensive unit for the Knicks that allows an average of 108.8 points per game.
Nicolas Batum, CHA at POR ($7,300): Batum might not be an excellent scorer, but he still provides plenty of value based on his ability to contribute in multiple categories. He has really highlighted that ability of late as he has at least 15 points, six rebounds and seven assists in each of his last three games. He scored 32.9 FanDuel points against Portland earlier this month, making him worth consideration again Tuesday.
Brandon Jennings, NY at WAS ($5,600): Jennings appears to be in line to start again Tuesday with Derrick Rose (ankle) unlikely to play. When given extended minutes, Jennings tends to come through as he has scored at least 24.3 FanDuel points in each of the last four games that he has played at least 27 minutes. Considering he won't cost you much, Jennings could provide excellent value in this contest.
Carmelo Anthony, NY at WAS ($8,500): Trade rumors have not slowed Anthony as he has provided at least 33 FanDuel points in seven of his last eight games. He scored 50 FanDuel points in his last matchup against the Wizards and with Rose out of action, look for him to carry the offensive loan in this contest.
Kenneth Faried, DEN at LAL ($6,600): Faried exploded for 47.6 FanDuel points Saturday against the Suns with Nikola Jokic (hip) out of action. Jokic is going to be out again Tuesday, leaving the door open for another big performance from Faried. This is also a favorable matchup against a porous Lakers defense that is allowing 110 points per game this season.
Ryan Anderson, HOU vs. SAC ($5,000): Anderson can carry your team or kill it on any given night. His last four games are a perfect example of this, as he scored at least 26.5 FanDuel points in two of those games, but did not top 19.7 FanDuel points in the other two contests. The Kings are allowing their opponents to shoot 37.6 percent from behind the arc, which bodes well for seeing the good side of Anderson on Tuesday. If you are looking to save money at power forward, he might be one of the better options.
DeMarcus Cousins, SAC at HOU ($11,400): Cousins has been scalding hot lately, scoring at least 60.7 FanDuel points in four of his last six games. Cousins has increased his scoring every season of his career and enters Tuesday averaging a lofty 28.1 points per game. He's not only about filling up the scoring column, though, as he is also adding 10.5 rebounds, 4.4 assists, 1.4 steals and 1.4 blocks per game. It's hard to argue against playing him Tuesday, even on the second night of a back-to-back.
Marcin Gortat, WAS vs. NY ($6,500): Gortat is coming off of consecutive double-doubles where he scored at least 33.2 FanDuel points in both contests. While he is averaging 35 minutes per game this season, he has seen his playing time decrease of late, as he hasn't reached that average in any of his last six games. He scored 31.6 FanDuel points against the Knicks in their last matchup, so it wouldn't be surprising if he continues his recent resurgence in this contest.
Ivica Zubac, LAL vs. DEN ($3,900): Zubac has been a pleasant surprise for the Lakers lately as he has provided a double-double in three of his last five games. The key is he played at least 26 minutes in all three of those games, which is significantly above his season average of 12 minutes per game. He had success against the Nuggets earlier this month when he scored 35.2 FanDuel points, so he could provide excellent value at this bargain price Tuesday.
