FanDuel NBA: Friday Value Plays

FanDuel NBA: Friday Value Plays

This article is part of our FanDuel NBA series.

Matthew Dellavedova, MIL at DEN ($4,100) – Dellavedova doesn't have a crazy high ceiling but the floor is pretty safe when it comes to 4X value. At this price, he's hit that value in five of his last six and had 24 or more fantasy points in three of those games. The matchup is almost as good as it gets with the Nuggets giving up the second most fantasy points to opposing point guards.

Yogi Ferrell, DAL at POR ($4,900) – It's a little crazy that not too long ago, Ferrell wasn't employed in the NBA and needed an injury to get a call-up from the Mavericks. His value is tied to Deron Williams and if Williams makes his return tonight, forget about Yogi. Besides having a cool name, Yogi has rewarded his DFS owners over the last three games with 24.1, 35.5 and 25.9 fantasy points. His most impressive stats are the 15 assists to only four turnovers, and the Trail Blazers are giving up the ninth most fantasy points to opposing point guards over their last five contests.

Devin Booker, PHO at SAC ($6,900) – No, this isn't any type of great value considering the price, but Booker has been a model of consistency lately. He's scored at least 29 FanDuel points in eight straight games (4.2X) and has five games of 34.7 or more (>5X) in his last 12. On the season, the Kings are allowing the fourth most fantasy points to opposing shooting guards (37.3 per game on average).

Matt Barnes, SAC vs PHO ($3,700)Garrett Temple hurt his hamstring last game, which will sideline him for the next 2-3 weeks. He'll leave behind 30-plus minutes per game that will likely benefit both Barnes and Anthony Tolliver. When Temple left the game, Barnes ended up playing 30 minutes and finished with over 20 fantasy points (5.4X value) for the second straight contest. Phoenix is giving up the fourth most fantasy points to opposing small forwards.

Rondae Hollis-Jefferson, BRO vs IND ($4,300) – RHJ was given the start last game for the Nets and responded with a nice stat line leading to 28.1 fantasy points over 30 minutes. The playing time was the key stat as no one outside of Brook Lopez typically cracks the 30-minute mark. Hollis-Jefferson has at least 20 fantasy points in three of his last four and the defense of Thaddeus Young is nothing to worry about.

Serge Ibaka, ORL vs TOR ($6,000) – Ibaka has been logging heavy minutes and producing nicely with 40.3 (in 36 minutes) and 36 fantasy points (38 minutes) in his last two games. This is a good home matchup, too, as the Raptors are not very strong at the power forward spot. They've given up the 10th most fantasy points to opposing power forwards and it's tough to envision Patrick Patterson slowing him down.

Clint Capela, HOU vs CHI ($4,900) – Capela has taken back his starting role, and on the second night of a back-to-back, the team may rest Nene Hilario. Capela has now scored at least 20 fantasy points in six straight games and has the upside to go into the upper 30s. Robin Lopez isn't exactly a defender to worry about, either.

Myles Turner, IND at BRO ($6,700) – In a game in which he's facing the team giving up the third most fantasy points to opposing centers, it seems like Turner should be priced closer to the $8K mark. Turner should have his way with the Nets and has scored at least 30 fantasy points in four of his last five games. Furthermore, Turner put up 55 fantasy points the last time he took on Brooklyn.
