FanDuel NBA: Friday-Saturday Value Plays

FanDuel NBA: Friday-Saturday Value Plays

This article is part of our FanDuel NBA series.

Dejounte Murray, SA vs GS ($2,600) – Murray has assumed a bigger role in the Spurs' offense with Tony Parker sidelined. He's gotten 24 and 27 minutes in two of the last three games and parlayed the increased playing time into 27.2 and 35.5 fantasy points.

Danny Green, SA vs GS ($4,200) – The blowout nature of Game 2 limited Green's minutes to 17, but in a game that's expected to be more competitive, he should be back to playing 30-plus minutes. In three of the last four games that he's played that type of minutes, he's scored 21.1, 25.5 and 28.2 fantasy points. Moving back to friendly confines at home in San Antonio should help as well.

Klay Thompson, GS at SA ($7,100) – Klay has been coasting to fantasy output in the mid-20s over his last three games and had a 9.2 fantasy-point dud the game before that. Therefore, it would seem most will be off him Friday, but he has the ability to go off and score 40-plus on any given night.

Jaylen Brown, BOS vs CLE ($2,100) – This is a great punt play considering Brown has been getting around 20 minutes, and it doesn't take much to hit 5X value at this price. He has 10.6, 14.6 and 21.3 fantasy points in three of his last four games, showing the potential for 10X. Using Brown also affords the opportunity to use two or three higher-priced studs.

Jonathon Simmons, SA vs GS ($4,300) – It doesn't appear that Kawhi Leonard will return to the lineup for this game, keeping Simmons in as a starter. Even if Leonard plays, Simmons' minutes seem pretty safe, but he'd likely come off the bench. Simmons has 23.4 or more fantasy points in four of his last five games, making him a good bet for over 5X value.

Kevin Love, CLE at BOS ($7,500) – Love has an extreme mismatch facing the Celtics, as evidenced by his 32 points and 12 rebounds in Game 1. Lebron likes to get Love involved early and often, and now that he's completely healthy, Love is a lock for minutes in the mid-30s.

JaVale McGee, GS at SA ($4,000) – This pick is only in play if Zaza Pachulia (questionable) is out. That would likely elevate McGee to 15-plus minutes, which is all he needs to make a fantasy impact. Since the end of March, McGee has recorded a slew of 20-plus fantasy-point performances — many of which came in less than 12 minutes of playing time.
