Wednesday's all-day MLB slate features all 30 teams and begins at 12:10 PM Eastern time, so get those lineups in bright and early. The recommended pitchers below are both priced at $37 despite being primed to keep up with the options priced above $40, and right-handed hitters on both the Cardinals and Marlins are in position to exploit favorable matchups.

PITCHER
Mike Montgomery, CHC at MIL ($37): Don't be fooled by Montgomery's low points-per-game average, as most of his work this season has come out of the bullpen. He's made it known that he wants to be a starter, however, and Montgomery's backed up that claim with 17.2 innings of two-run ball through three starts filling in for Yu Darvish (triceps). While his season strikeout rate is a putrid 14.2 percent, Montgomery's career 18.4 percent mark suggests he's due for some positive regression against a Brewers lineup that ranks middle of the pack offensively and strikes out more than league average.
Sonny Gray, NYY vs. WAS ($37): Gray's a bit underrated due to his slow start, but he's turned things around with just one run allowed on six hits over 14 innings and 14:2 K:BB in his past two starts. His 4.81 ERA is also primed to come down closer to his career 3.55 mark, making this matchup with a Nationals lineup that has been just middling in runs per game a nice buy-low opportunity for a proven pitcher that's on the upswing.

CATCHER
Yadier Molina, STL vs. SD ($14): Molina's veteran experience should come in handy against rookie left-hander Eric Lauer, who has struggled with control (12.3 percent walk rate) and getting right-handed hitters out (.409 wOBA allowed). While Molina's underwhelmed over a 25 at-bat sample against lefties in 2018, his .347 wOBA in that split last season suggests he's due to pick it up and this is a terrific opportunity to do so.
FIRST BASE
Jose Martinez, STL vs. SD ($26): Martinez costs quite a bit more than his teammate Molina, but it's easy to justify paying up for the red-hot first baseman given his recent form and history of success against lefties. Since finally cracking the majors in 2016, Martinez has racked up 107 at-bats against left-handed pitching while posting a monstrous .478 wOBA over that sample. Don't expect Lauer to slow him down.
SECOND BASE
Starlin Castro, MIA vs. SF ($15): Castro has been operating out of the leadoff spot since the start of June, maximizing his plate appearances. The right-handed slugger has a .334 season wOBA against lefties, and that number is primed to rise further with underwhelming southpaw Andrew Suarez on the mound for the Giants. Suarez has allowed a .372 wOBA to the 143 right-handed hitters he's faced this season.
THIRD BASE
Brian Anderson, MIA vs. SF ($17): Anderson made a statement with two doubles and a home run in Monday's series opener. Judging by Anderson's .393 season wOBA against southpaws and Suarez's aforementioned struggles, the young third baseman is well positioned to post a similar performance here.
SHORTSTOP
Xander Bogaerts, BOS at BAL ($20): Bogaerts has fared well in righty-on-righty matchups, producing a .359 wOBA that's right in line with his .366 mark against lefties. He faces a vulnerable right-hander here in Baltimore's Andrew Cashner, who has surrendered a .404 wOBA to batters from the right side this season.
OUTFIELD
Matt Kemp, LAD vs. TEX ($19): Kemp has thrived through 65 at-bats against lefties this season, posting a .435 wOBA. Look for him to keep rolling against Texas left-hander Cole Hamels, who looks like a shell of his former self. Right-handed hitters have raised their wOBA against Hamels in every season since 2014 and are up to .334 so far in 2018.
Charlie Blackmon, COL at PHI ($19): Blackmon has a .389 wOBA against righties this season, and that number surprisingly jumps to .415 on the road. Phillies starter Nick Pivetta is going to have a hard time getting in the way of that success given his recent struggles -- Pivetta's failed to last more than five innings in any of his past three starts while posting a 5.79 ERA over that stretch.
Brandon Nimmo, NYM at ATL ($22): Nimmo has been one of the few bright spots on offense for the Mets this season, posting an excellent .458 wOBA through 105 at-bats against righties while batting in the top third of the order. Look for him to keep rolling against Braves starter Mike Soroka, who has just three major-league appearances under his belt and is just coming off the disabled list due to a shoulder injury.
