Toronto is going with a bullpen starter (Louis Varland) while Boston starter Brayan Bello has thrived on the road with three straight quality starts at Arizona, at Baltimore, and at Yankee Stadium. The combination of Bello's road success and Toronto's offensive struggles makes this an easy choice. A bullpen game from Toronto makes me slightly nervous, but at eight, it feels like there's room for a couple of crooked numbers and still get the cover.

In Bello's last three road starts, he recorded 2, 6, and 5 strikeouts and overall, six of his last nine starts has seen him record 4 or more strikeouts. Granted, Toronto doesn't strike out a lot as a team, but given their pressing on the offensive side, Bello should get to at least four strikeouts today.
