This article is part of our MLB Picks series.

Previous: 3-0, +3.15 RWBucks
Overall: 108-84-1, +7.12 RWBucks

White Sox at Royals, 2:10 p.m. EDT

Dylan Cease vs. Brady Singer

Cease has been consistent in his last seven starts and recent history against the Royals. He is 2-0 with a 1.98 ERA with 27 strikeouts in 27 innings in his last five starts vs. Kansas City. He also has gone at least six innings in five of his last seven starts. The Royals have been a bottom three offense the last seven days with a 66 wRC+.

BET: Cease over 17.5 outs (-133 BetMGM) for 1 RWBuck

Cardinals at Brewers, 2:10 p.m. EDT

Jon Lester vs. Corbin Burnes

Burnes has allowed one or fewer in nine of 11 starts and allowed no runs against the Cardinals on Aug. 17.  He has a 1.92 ERA and 0.94 WHIP in those last 11 starts. His history against the Cardinals has been strong also with a 1.78 ERA in his last five starts against them. He has only allowed one earned run vs.  St. Louis in three starts this year.

BET: Burnes under 1.5 earned runs (+105 BetMGM) for 1 RWBuck

Pirates at Cubs, 2:20 p.m. EDT

Wil Crowe vs. Zach Davies

The Pirates have been near the bottom in most offensive categories the last 14 days, and Davies has been more consistent on his strikeouts recently. He has struck out at least five batters in six of eight starts. Because the Pirates are so weak on offense, this should allow Davies to go deeper in the game and hit five to six innings to go over the 4.5 strikeout prop.

BET: Davies over 4.5 strikeouts (+125 BetMGM) for 1 RWBuck

Astros at Padres, 4:10 p.m. EDT

Luis Garcia vs. Chris Paddack

Garcia has extreme home/road splits toward home, but he is still striking out 1.17 batters per inning on the road. Over his last nine starts, he has struck out at least six batters in seven starts and averages six per game on the season. I also like the shift to the National League in which he should get two shots at the pitcher hitting. The Padres have been a strange team on offense recently as the numbers on the surface look better than they actually are. If you look at the splits, you can see where they are hitting just .213 in their last 15 games at home.

BET: Garcia over 5.5 strikeouts (+128 FanDuel) for 1 RWBuck
