2025 Fantasy Outlook
Minteh had an impressive 2024/25 season given that he didn't have the hype of a major signing. Newcastle had to offload him last summer and that became the benefit of Brighton. He evolved to become a regular starter as the season progressed, finishing with double-digit goal contributions (six goals, four assists) while playing a significant role on either flank. He fits perfectly with Brighton's direct attacking style and played all but one match he was fit for, starting 13 league matches since February, a good sign for time heading into 2025/26.
Subs off injured against West Ham
Minteh suffered a potential thigh injury that prevented him from completing Tuesday's game versus West Ham, Andy Naylor of The Athletic reports. According to Fabian Hurzeler, "We need to have a scan, then we will see."
ANALYSIS
Minteh went down with the injury after attempting one shot and winning a penalty kick over 58 minutes on the pitch Tuesday. He's now at risk of missing upcoming fixtures, but the severity of his situation remains unknown. The attacker has been a reliable source of shots and crosses while recording one goal and four assists in the current campaign. However, Brajan Gruda could take his place on the right wing in the event of a serious issue.
