Farsi didn't score a goal across his first two MLS campaigns but broke out with four during the 2024 season, finishing the campaign with a career-high six goal contributions. He served as the team's first-choice right midfielder for the second straight season and has 10 goal contributions in 50 starts in that role. He's set to play the same role in 2025, however, his ceiling may be limited. Columbus funnels more attacks on the left side of the pitch with Max Arfsten and although Farsi still has plenty of opportunities, that limits his upside. He also took just 13 shots during the 2024 campaign, so his four goals could be an outlier. While it's possible he can replicate his production of the past two seasons, there doesn't seem to be a path for him to improve those numbers significantly.

                  Trains to side
Farsi (pelvis) is training to the side Wednesday, according to Brianna Mac Kay of the Columbus Dispatch.
                  ANALYSIS
Farsi underwent surgery over a month ago now and is still in recovery, with the midfielder back in training and working to the side. However, he is likely still a decent way away from a return, still needing to join the group. That said, he is unlikely to see the field in their opening series of the playoffs and could have potentially played his final match of the season back in July, with his team on the ropes and facing elimination next contest.
