Daniel Gazdag

A year removed from scoring 11 of his 14 goals from the penalty spot, Gazdag scored 13 of his 17 goals from open play in 2024. In a disappointing season for the Union, Gazdag was a bright spot. With a focus on youth development expected for the Union, 15-year-old Cavan Sullivan will be under the tutelage of Gazdag once again in 2025. While Gazdag's goals from open play will likely decrease (10.7 non-penalty xG), Gazdag should be in the 18-to-20 goal contribution range, similar to his last three seasons of 28, 20 and 19.
