2025 Fantasy Outlook
Silva has often been in rumors to leave City, but his versatility and overall health continue to be important for Pep Guardiola, starting 29 of 33 league appearances last season en route to four goals and four assists. However, with him seeing more time centrally and defensively instead of his normal attacking roles, his eight goal contributions were his worst in a season since joining the club in 2017. This is a bit of a worry entering the season considering the bevy of attacking options at City's disposal. Then again, Silva can play anywhere and technically he can also produce from anywhere. Yet, at 31 years old to open the season, his numbers will start to drop at some point, no matter how important he's been for Guardiola.
Blunders massive chance
MManchester City
January 8, 2026
Silva registered two shots (one on goal) and one cross (zero accurate) in Wednesday's 1-1 draw against Brighton.
ANALYSIS
Silva would be on the receiving end of an errant Brighton pass and mistake that would see himself on goal with only the keeper to beat, but would blunder the chance after trying to power it into the back of the net. This continues a rough streak for the midfielder, as he has not earned a goal contribution since Nov. 9 and has yet to bag a goal this season. He still remains a regular starter in the team, one of the few veteran presences on the pitch.

MManchester City
October 7, 2025
Barcelona and Juventus are fighting to sign Bernardo Silva, according to Caught Offside.
ANALYSIS
The 31-year-old playmaker is expected to leave Manchester City in the summer, and the fact that the likes of Barca and Juve are interested in him suggest that he remains good enough to continue playing at the highest level in Europe. A move to Saudi Arabia can't be ruled out, though, as Al-Ahli, Al-Qadsiah and Al-Nassr are preparing substantial offers for the Portugal international.
