2025 Fantasy Outlook
Gordon didn't live up to the expectation he set for himself after tallying 11 goals and 10 assists the prior season. He managed six goals and five assists with a split role on set pieces in 2024/25, but an injury derailed his campaign and he didn't have a goal or assist from February on. When healthy, Gordon has production in him, but with Champions League on the slate this season, there's a chance for more rotation in league play, especially after Harvey Barnes produced in Gordon's absence. Still, this Newcastle attack is potent and anyone in the front three has value in fantasy, especially Gordon with set pieces.

Gordon was shown a straight red card and sent off during the first half of Monday's clash with Liverpool.
ANALYSIS
Gordon went in high and late on Virgil van Dijk and was handed his marching orders just before half time. The winger will now be sidelined for three Premier League matches. That rules him out against Leeds, Wolves, and Bournemouth. Unless Alexander Isak re-integrates into the Newcastle squad, Will Osula will be in line to lead the attack for those matches.

Target for Reds

June 7, 2025
Liverpool are considering a summer move for Gordon in case Luis Diaz leaves the club in the summer, according to Teamtalk.
ANALYSIS
Liverpool are not looking to sell the 28-year-old Colombian winger, but they haven't ruled out the possibility of doing so. If Diaz leaves, however, then the Reds would go all out to sign Gordon. The Newcastle winger endured lots of injury issues in 2024-25, but when healthy, he's one of the best wingers in the Premier League. He'd certainly be an interesting addition for Liverpool.
