Gordon didn't live up to the expectation he set for himself after tallying 11 goals and 10 assists the prior season. He managed six goals and five assists with a split role on set pieces in 2024/25, but an injury derailed his campaign and he didn't have a goal or assist from February on. When healthy, Gordon has production in him, but with Champions League on the slate this season, there's a chance for more rotation in league play, especially after Harvey Barnes produced in Gordon's absence. Still, this Newcastle attack is potent and anyone in the front three has value in fantasy, especially Gordon with set pieces.

Gordon has almost certainly earned the right to continue starting, as he now has seven goal contributions in the Champions League, tied for the second most in the competition. He will look to carry this form forward as one of the Premier League and Champions League's most dangerous attacking threats.
