FORWARDS
Mohamed Salah, LIV at TOT (£29): It's a toss up between Salah and Sadio Mane (£28). Mane's floor has been higher than Salah's, finishing with at least 12 points in four of his past five starts, while Salah's ceiling is higher than Mane's. Salah has scored at least 19.45 points in four of his past six starts, a span that saw Mane peak at 19.60. You'll need a goal to justify rostering either option, but this match has the second-highest implied goal total, which makes Son Heung-Min (£24) a possibility after finishing up a three-match suspension. However, Liverpool have allowed just 14 goals in 20 matches, so roster Tottenham attackers at your own peril.
Marcus Rashford, MUN v. NOR (£26): Manchester United are the second-biggest favorite on the slate against Norwich, who concede the most shots, shots on goal, accurate crosses and tackles won, while also allowing a league-high 41 goals in 21 matches. Manchester United are winless in their last three and could use a result. If there was a matchup to bounce back in, it's Norwich at home. Rashford has the second-best scoring odds and is pacing the Premier League in shots (71) and shots on goal (31). Anthony Martial (£23) is a slightly cheaper alternative, or option for a stack, while Mason Greenwood (£14) offers major savings if he makes it into the starting lineup.
Raul Jimenez, WOL v. NEW (£21): Newcastle concede the second-most shots and shots on goal, making both Jimenez and Adama Traore (£17) options. Jimenez and Traore have had consecutive duds against Liverpool and Watford but had been producing prior to those losses. Newcastle are dealing with a laundry list of injured players and have seen a dip in form recently, losing four of their past six league matches while conceding 10 goals. Additionally, Pedro Neto (£14) could be a bargain play with Diogo Jota expected to miss out.
MIDFIELDERS
James Maddison, LEI v. SOU (£21): If I'm sounding like a broken record, it's because I am. Maddison is the second-best fantasy midfielder in the Premier League behind Kevin De Bruyne but continues to be an affordable and more productive option than some of the mid-to-top tier forwards. Gylfi Sigurdsson (£20) has taken almost all set-pieces for Everton since Carlos Ancelotti was hired as manager and is a viable play against Brighton. James Ward-Prowse (£17) operates in a similar role as Maddison but will be a heavy underdog heading to King Power Stadium. I'd rather spend £2 more on Maddison than settle for Youri Tielemans (£19), while Harvey Barnes (£11) is friendly on the budget if he comes back into the first XI.
Joao Moutinho, WLV v. NEW (£17): Moutinho is as consistent as they come in terms of playing time and set-piece duty. He takes all set pieces for Wolves and has a favorable matchup against Newcastle. He's fourth in the league in accurate crosses (39) while Newcastle concede the second-most. Emiliano Buendia (£17) is the same price and has provided assists over the previous two matches. Like Moutinho, he takes almost all set-pieces for Norwich City.
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, LIV at TOT (£16): While Liverpool's attackers could price you out of multiple options, their midfielders are all relatively friendly on the budget. They're currently dealing with injuries to James Milner (strain), Naby Keita (groin), Xherdan Shaqiri (hamstring), and Fabinho (ankle), and those injuries should bring Oxlade-Chamberlain into the lineup. It's worth keeping in mind he hasn't played a full 90 yet this season, though he's scored four goals in his past five starts while finishing with at least eight points in four of five matches.Meanwhile, Jordan Henderson (£13) has finished with at least six points in three straight matches and is an affordable starting midfielder. On the other side, Christian Eriksen (£27) and Dele Alli (£25) are the two most-expensive midfielders but are playing against the Premier League's best defense and a side who have kept five straight clean sheets in the league.
DEFENDERS
Luke Shaw, MUN v. NOR (£16): As I mentioned, Norwich concede fantasy stats to opponents at an extremely high clip. United are hard to depend on for a clean sheet, though Shaw has been able to contribute in other ways, helping him to at least four points in his past four starts. Aaron Wan-Bissaka (£15) leads the league in tackles won and is slightly cheaper than Shaw. Harry Maguire (knee) is unlikely to play, which could bring Phil Jones (£15) or Axel Tuanzebe (£10) into the lineup.
Jonny Evans, LEI v. SOU (£13): After Liverpool, Leicester are the best defensive side and host a resurgent Southampton. Caglar Soyuncu (£18) has received many of the plaudits, along with Ricardo Pereira (£16) and Ben Chilwell (£17), while Evans has been a big part of their success as well. Comparatively, Evans is the cheapest and produces consistently, finishing with at least seven points in five of his past eight matches. Cedric Soares (£13) and Ryan Bertrand (£13) are Southampton's best defensive option, with Cedric being my preference of the two.
Toby Alderweireld, TOT v. LIV (£11): This is the most affordable Alderweireld has been all season and is wildly inexpensive for a starting defender playing at home. Yes, Liverpool have run through everyone this season, but at this price it's worth the gamble. Jan Vertonghen (£16) is another option for Tottenham, while Trent Alexander-Arnold (£19) and Virgil van Dijk (£19) are the two most-expensive defenders. Joe Gomez (£15) has started the past five matches at center-back, which have all been clean sheets, and he is the most affordable defender for Liverpool.
GOALKEEPERS
Martin Dubravka, NEW v. WOL (£15): Rui Patricio (£16) has the best clean sheet odds playing at home against Newcastle, followed by Kepa Arrizabalaga (£17) and David de Gea (£15). Alisson Becker (£19) is the most expensive and is worth skipping at that price, while Paulo Gazzaniga (£11) should be considered as long as you think Tottenham won't get completely run over. Kasper Schmeichel (£17) will be a solid play if Leicester can keep Southampton out of the net, while Dubravka leads the league in saves and has scored at least five fantasy points in 11 of his past 14 matches.
